I watched it live. .and considered it a job well done. His ability to laugh at himself is one of his personal strengths. He is wise enough to know how to handle criticism , and can still push back with effectiveness. but not petulant childish acting out anger. (like T. )

 

How will bringing Trump to justice , destroy the country. One would think the opposite was true. The law applies to everyone. No exceptions for Donny. He has already affected the country with HIS words and behavior to the point it is more than just divided.. there seems to be an irreparable fissure.
It seems that Trump defenders get their misinformation from placers like social media which can be an echo chamber for noting more than BS. I took my mom from right as rain to not even being able to recognize her own daughter to extreme paranoia and death in a little over a year. Some one should inform him as well the alzheimers and dementia are different things that progress quite differently.

I buried my father a little over a month ago. I buried my brother two years ago. Biden's symptoms mirror theirs to a tee. It will be an honest shocker if he is alive in two years. The biggest give away is movement and how he walks. My mom is 88 years old and walks an order of magnitude better than Biden. Look to see if he is capable of a brisk walk..... he is not. The disease attacks not only cognitive ability but interferes with other functions as well.

First: Condolences on your losses.

Second: I will wait until an actual PHYSICIAN makes a statement about Biden's condition......as observations from a distance, on TV or video are not the ideal way to diagnose anything. The only things we know for a fact are that he is numerically in the early eighties. Second he has some serous arthritis ( in his back etc ) which would obviously affect his gait. He might need a wheel chair to navigate and if so, that is fine. I think that far too many are too concerned about image ..which is just superficial. His history of a speach disorder surfaces in times of extreme stress, but he has done an admirable job overcoming it. IF there was a serious problem......I do believe that his medical advisors would make appropriate recommendations....as they would be the most familiar with his medical status.

I've seen pictures of Old Joe walking quickly, albeit stiffly, in the past several months. Why doesn't he walk more quickly? Maybe it's painful.

My father had Alzheimer's and he learned to walk again after breaking a second hip. Joe is able to deal with complex ideas in conversing about thorny problems like Israel and the Palestinians.

I do agree with you about EVs. The batteries are too expensive, too dangerous, and we don't have the electrical generating capacity to charge up the batteries. Maybe a fast conversion to nuclear power generation could speed up the use of EVs.

My mother was about the same as Biden at his age, and she lived for another 13 years.
