What's outrageous about why Gays want to get married and adopt kids? it's no secret it's about money. help strengthen the Gay lobby and it's agenda.

To be clear. My stance with people who irrationally dislike "the gays" or "the blacks" is to mock them with their own terminology. I can appreciate that it doesn't always translate ;)

Questerr is 100% correct. You've made an outrageous and frankly stupid claim. You need to man up and defend it with stats or everyone reading this is going to see your claim for the BS it is.

You won't post the stats, as they do not exist.

No stats because nobody will do any stats on the blantant truth. You just have to "see" it for yourself.

You need to back this up with evidence. Do it or admit you are pulling this out our ass, aka LYING.

I don't have a problem with homos. Some are acquaintances of mine, and they are good, hard-working people. That said, I don't believe they need special laws, nor should they be an open influence in public schools.

Jesus Christ called homosexuality an abomination, supposed Christian...

If gay marriage was legalized, should any church have to marry gay couples? I ask because this Government - and most sycophant leftists supporting it - seem to believe that most churches should support contraceptive distribution under their roofs.

    It's mere logic.

The proof is in the pudding. what other reason would they push for marriage and adopt kids?

Most Gays already live together so there's really no need for a marriage certificate, unless you're seeking to have a tax break on your joint filing.

Secondly, adopting a baby is more cha-ching over time on tax write offs than adopting a 13yr.old who will be an adult in 5 years at 18

It doens't take a Rocket scientist to figure out the agenda.

Gays have always lived together for years with no qualms, but only in our lifetime have they sought to be legally married. and it's a reason for that.

They aren't complaining that LIFE is unfair, they are complaining that the LAW is unfair.

Those are two different things, and it just so happens they have the right of it in their case.

Truely? No extra laws regarding things like hate speech and discrimination in the workplace giving them some special rights?

Of course they were correct. I really don't get why people keep pretending like "slippery slopes" don't exist when they're clearly demonstrated by history over and over as the default.

Though while I appreciate the rhetorical desire to do so, I object to trying to equate the black civil rights movement and the gay rights movement. A biracial person can't just wake up in the morning and decide wether they want to go out and be black or white today, however at the least bisexuals and prison inmates that used to be heterosexual are making a choice.

That isn't to say gays shouldn't have rights, just that the situations are very different.

Actually, as a point of fact he didn't. At least he was never recorded as having made such a comment.

Paul maybe, people argue about exactly what was meant and the relevant verses are translated many different ways.

The Old testament is pretty clear though. The debate there is over relevance and how one should act in the new covenant of Christ.

That is seriously ridiculous. The cost of adopting and raising a baby outpaces any tax write offs by two orders of magnitude. It's nothing like the baby mamas living off of the government dole, because someone like that isn't going to be able to foot the massive costs associated with the adoption process, nor would they be approved even if they could.

I also haven't known any of my gay aquaintances to be pedophiles. Though I suppose that's not exactly the sort of thing someone might share. Crazy promiscuous, but they're nice one on one.

Collectively however, giving them their desired laws is going to make things worse for me. That isn't in and of itself sufficient reason to deny them though, and I generally feel they should get them. I just wish we could sit down and hammer out some things to protect the now minority traditional families out there.

Really, these threads are baffling. They all go basically the same way:

    Poster 1:
I don't get why people think gays or homosexual marriage are a threat to them?

    Poster 2:
*says something mean about gays and maybe poster 1*

    Poster 1:
POSTER 2 YOU ARE A BASTARD, YOUR SON WILL TURN OUT TO BE GAY AND SUCK MY ****! THEY AND EVERYONE ELSE WILL REVILE YOU. YOUR CHURCH WILL BE ABANDONED AND I WILL DRIVE THE BULLDOZER THAT DESTROYS IT. SOON SPOUTING HATEFULL THINGS AND EXCLUDING GAYS FROM YOUR BUSINESS WILL BE A CRIME AND YOU WILL BE THROWN IN JAIL, AFTER WHICH YOUR WIFE WILL LEAVE YOU. TRUELY ALL YOU HOLD DEAR IN THIS WORLD WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOU!

Later someone else will start yet another thread like this, and poster 1 will agree that nobody has anything to fear.

While your typical poster 2 might be a little extreme. Most people in this country still stand to lose significantly and have their values and hopes for their children at least partially dashed by the homosexual community and their desired laws.

I think they may come to vote to allow such laws in time, but I wish people would appreciate that people are voting to make life better for those that will attack them.

I've never heard the sheriff of Dallas County complain about the law being unfair... and she's gay. Maybe you can't speak for all gays, eh?

It's your constitutional right to choose your sexuality, as long as you aren't violating animals :). The only thing I have against gays are the ones that walk around dressing and acting like women. It's like a straight guy walking around in a wife-beater acting really masculine - nobody likes those type of show-offs. Any ways, gays just don't impact us enough that people should be radically anti-gay. When I see those sorts of people I see straight through their reasons for discrimination to insecurity.

This opitomises the majority of arguments: I don't have my own opinion, I just hate gays and trust other people (jebus, right wing ********* etc...).

    Pathetic.
