Trayvon Martin: Typical teen or troublemaker?

Let's see, he was a legal CCW permit holder and didn't seem to have any problems with any other black teens until he called 911 on TM.

 

And Casey Anthony was a good mom till her kid disappeared.

 

He called police on many black teens, but you have to remember he didn't get his gun until Dec 2009.

 

Yes! Actually he even called the police to report a "suspicious Black TEN YEAR OLD!"

 

George really wanted to be a cop. Thank God he wasn't. You would think that having spent 5 years trying to get a 2 year degree in law enforcement, he would have behaved differently .

 

That doesn't mean he didn't have any problems, that just means he wasn't written up for any of them. But in the taped telephone call, he said something along the lines of "these people always get away" which kinda makes me think he held a negative view of black people from the start.

Otherwise, a lot of people have a concealed weapons permit. It doesn't give you the right to use it as part of law enforcement. Whether he did or didn't do that, I don't know.

But...even looking at the most recent photo of Trayvon, I don't see how a grown man was overpowered by a kid to the point of shooting him. And no, unless you are still living in the 1950's, marijuana is not a psychotic drug. If anything, it damages coordination and would have been in Zimmerman's favor in a brawl, especially if he was so under that it was visually observable by Zimmerman. (I'll give the defense the benefit of the doubt and say he was more than just a little under the influence)

None of this says whether he did or didn't, but at the very heart of this, it is a completely unlikely scenario. Especially for someone who ran to then turn around savagely beat someone. Especially for a kid against a grown man.

Actually, your comment reminds me of one incident that was reported in a paper. Apparently George reported a "suspicious" kid because he was responsible for stealing a bike. . .If I remember correctly, (I will look for the link to confirm and provide it to you if I can find it), he called the police and they cam ean investigated. . .and found out that the bike the kid had was HIS OWN!

I haven't found that specific link yet, but this one is kind of interesting and funny too!

Margot's rules for Neighborhood Watch members states that NW members are to call in suspicious persons and not to worry if they are wrong or not. The police would rather check than have an actual crime occur. It must be pretty hard on a poor kids to have his or her bike stolen.

 

NW requires reasonable intelligence.. George just couldn't handle it.. Serino tried to explain it to George.

I don't know. They seem more psychotic. Like the eyes of a man who has wasted the last two years of his life only to lose the last election and finally realize his all his efforts fell on deaf ears and that his community considers him a joke.
