Nothing here changes the fact you cannot meet the challenge put to you.

I liked the part where right winger are racist.. Hurt my feeling a little, but I'm getting sort of used to the derogatory insults, kinda..

Someone at MSDNC lied to him, and he doesn't care.

That particular interview was March 19, not Feb 7.

On March 19, the US had over 18,098 cases.

Just a week earlier, there were 2,440 cases.

Fake response. No one said we should panic.
Yes, yes did. He admitted in private that he knew the virus was far worse than the flu. In public, he said the opposite. That's a lie. I get that Trump doesn't understand the concept of lying, but surely you do.
He mentioned it in passing in the SOTU.
    4) we were active attempting to help contain the virus in China.[/quote]By that time it was too late, and mentioning the virus in passing isn't the question. He. Misrepresented. The. Threat. Of. The. Virus. Period. He admitted it. Desperation is not a substitute for truth, as much as Trump support requires it.
More fake news. Trump knew in February that it spread through the air, that it was highly communicable, and that it was far more deadly than the flu. Meanwhile, he told the public it was no worse than the flu. That's a lie. Spin it however you want, but a lie is a lie, and this lie was a dangerous one. He admitted to misrepresenting the threat of the the deadliest epidemic we've faced in a century. Any claim otherwise is an outright lie. He admitted it.

Then again with a 14 days incubation time and almost 60 day head start it was pretty well going to be as bad as it gets.. That's why all the bloated death toll prediction were so popular.. The world was literally screwed by the middle of January..

They just happen to be true. Your fuhrer is on tape both times.

The first, telling Woodward how bad the virus is (Feb), and later admitting that he lied about it to the public, his excuse being to avoid “panic” (this from a guy who ordered a riot not three months later).

No the interview in which is told him he wanted to play it down was Feb 7

In March, he said he still like to play it down

The bottomline, according to the expert...Trump distorted nothing when he spoke to the public

Oh look! Out of rationalizations and lying, and now trying to pivot to “it is, what it is”!

And that makes XI, what again? Trump and all the other leaders around the world would have had to be a a league of GOD to thwart this thing, but you continue to expect what no leader has prevented YET!

Translation: You and Trump don't know what the word "downplay" means. Downplaying is distorting. Downplaying is lying. It is knowing that the threat is one thing and deliberately misrepresenting the extent of that threat. That's lying. That's distortion. "Can we just pretend that lies aren't lies" isn't a legitimate political position.

    1) cool, then you agree with Trump's handling
    2) nope he did not...the experts said he distorted nothing when he spoke to the public
    3) He distorted nothing that was known to him...according to the experts.....it may have been to late to contain it in China, but we were having to deal with the lying Chinese
    4) yes he knew in Feb, and so did the public that it spread throiugh the air.

    Nothing was distorted : https://www.politico.com/news/2020/09/09/anthony-fauci-trump-woodward-coronavirus-410895

“I didn’t get any sense that he was distorting anything,” Fauci said. “In my discussions with him, they were always straightforward about the concerns that we had. We related that to him. When he would go out, I’d hear him discussing the same sort of things.”

That's because people confuse lying with misinformation and tact.. Look we all know the left hates Trumps but some realization of time lines and a realistic world view would be an intelligent start..

No, he told Woodward that Xi had warned him and said it was going to be bad in Feb 7

His “play it down” comment was made in March. You can look it up, if you want to.

You’ve been making this false claim for some time now.

And Trump is still pretending that it is no big deal. He was on his herd immunity excuse last night.

We have had the worst response outside of the third world, and the leader is still pointing fingers and making excuses.

Yes, you do accept lying and misinformation as facts. Every day!

    It is what it is.

Your leader/teacher (fuhrer) isn’t going to help you. Herd immunity is his answer.

Face it...nothing was distorted....downplaying isn't distorting. Distorting would be changing the facts...downplaying would be expressing that it's under control and not worth panicing over.

As is the fact the stink over this is simply an attempt to redirect the narrative away from something the Democrats know they cannot survive.
