What's with all the Fortune Cookie advice.?
I guess that approach is wearing thin at another pop stand known
for big breakfasts and chit chat.

Sounds like a TV my parents had that they just got rid of last year. It was a bulky 42 inch Sony HDtv. Had it for 10 years before it finally puked (not a bad run for a TV). They bought a 43 inch SOny HD widescreen LCD. It's pretty sweet. I bought one myself 3 months ago for $1300...a fair price.

I am not trying to rain on your parade. You should feel proud of yourself for getting your degree. You are definitely a more qualified applicant, with a higher earning expectation... but... again... I posted links. Average is 5k less, plus with 4+ years of experience and earning... it becomes a wash for several years. I am just dealing with averages, not anomalies like your boss, or a taco bell employee... but on average.

You are definitely in a good place... and should feel accomplished.

I just hope you don't have a lot of loans.

You can haggle with big chains. Main key is to go between them.

Most UPS trucks are gas. UPS has researched this issue, and they've decided that the fuel savings is worth the possible extra wear and tear on the engine.

I can tell gas from diesel with me eyes closed.I realize UPS is
going green in California with the addition of some 100 electric
vehicles. But the UPS trucks I come across when motorcycling and in my
    neighborhood have all been Diesel.
