    Defense mechanism, I believe ;)

    Sometimes when great difficulty is apparent, perhaps when someone is in a dire situation, and reality sets in hard and proper, SOME people like to see the funny side of their problem to make themselves feel better and alleviate the problem.

    I imagine what the internationally travelling, M16, CIA, foreign diplomat, Trout Mask Replica is doing isn't much dissimilar.
