    Depends on the Band.

Bands like Alice Cooper, KISS...etc....basically dress up and use Halloween type concepts and images as well as include sexuality to increase fan interest but not for one second do actual fans of Alice Cooper or KISS think there is anything Satanic or Demonic about such bands as it is all in fun.

But the more Christian Groups protested against such bands in the 1970's....THE BIGGER SUCH BANDS GOT!!!

All anyone here has to do is read a few lines out of the completely ridiculous and unscientific OF PANDAS AND PEOPLE INTELLIGENT DESIGN BOOK.

This book that now has been BANNED from being taught in ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS NATIONWIDE as well as in Europe....is quite possibly the single most stupid conceptual Book EVER WRITTEN!!!

    So...let me get this straight.

Are you saying if you were the author of this Intelligent Design Book that it would be currently taught all over the world?

Or are you saying if you wrote a different form of Intelligent Design concept it would be taught all over the world?

Apparently you are having trouble with reading comprehension so I doubt any further explanation will uncloud your mind.

You know...I should have expected that any respect or courtesy sent your way as that is exactly what I have done by giving you a chance to explain yourself and explain your post as the way it reads does not make it clear whether or not you support Intelligent Design as it is currently and idiotically dictated to be or if you supported a different form of Intelligent Design.....I should have expected you to act in the courteous manner you have just shown all.

The Christian argument against rock music was the same argument against everything else they don't like "If we don't like it, it's evil, and was created by the Devil."

Well thank you your majesty for granting me such a high privelege but do you have a response of substance or will you continue to preach about internet etiquette?

So only a question requires a response? I hope you know better than that.

What the HELL are you even talking about?

Are you asking me to provide a source that shows Intelligent Design to be banned from being taught in Public and Private schools in the U.S.?

As just about EVERYONE KNOWS....Of Pandas and People supporters lost a case brought against it being taught in schools by the ACLU and it cannot be used by FEDERAL LAW to teach Public School Students but even more than this all current Private Schools that are accredited do not use it to teach students either as they also consider this book as completely unscientific.

There are so many links to this it is hardly worth arguing.

Clover vs. Blitzmiller...that's the case. ID, as ruled by the Judge, is psuedo-science and nothing more than Creation made to sound sciency.

And guess who backed out, leaving the town of Clover....with their ass hanging in the wind.....

Just pointing out the legal presedence prohibiting those want to, or believe the can teach Intelligent Design in the public school system.

This "debating champion" thingy, did you win this as the only student in a home school?

And I would hope you agree that Gospel comes straight out of the black spiritual, which in itself drew heavily from black folk

Black gospel groups were indeed part of it. Elvis, etc. added country and made 'Rockabilly' a fusion of Blues, Gospel and Country. Blues grew from African roots and black chain-gang chants and it was considered the Devil's music by some and we all know the story of Robert Johnson. Country has European roots with a significant Irish influence.

Yeah I have always thought Country was a strange bird. Even knowing it's roots it a uniquely American thing. And yes Robert Johnson, such a cool story I almost wish it was true lol

Rock music is perfectly acceptable for a Christian. I think people object when they see cynical political operatives & the media elte use the genre's popularity to further the career of some politician.

"Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business and eventually degenerates into a racket."

Rock music is a great example of this phenomenon.
