    I live in a Republican state, places still require masks, but sure it will return to normal soon as my state doing well on vaccinations surprisingly

    I decided to check this out today. I live in Washoe County in the state of Nevada. Currently, we are averaging about 7 new cases per week, or about 1 new case per day. The population of Washoe county is 471,000. So according to my calculations, on each average day, 0.0002% of the population is accruing a new infection.

    The current rules are that those who are vaccinated don't have to wear masks, but the others do, although no one is really enforcing anything, so I guess it's just based on the honor system.
