My ignore list is empty. I believe in solving problems instead of letting them go unchallenged.

 

I'm guessing the right wingers have the longest list of people they ignore, they seem to prefer agreeing amongst themselves more than debating/learning.

Had to check. I do actually have one person on ignore.

I think the leftists would field the biggest ignore lists. Their whole head in the sand, life long ailment kinda points in that direction.

The sole exception to this is a group here whose cattiness is so blatant and nasty that I should never go near any of their posts let alone respond

I could answer that, if I knew more about the ignore option I guess, but like I said, I only have one person on iggy.

If you had me on ignore stroll, and if I responded to you in a post, who I get a message that says "this person has you on ignore"?

I think I had that once come up on this forum, but it was quite a while ago, so I think that is how it works.

Anyways, if that is the way it works, then the answer is not very many would have me on ignore, because, except the one time, I never get that message.

Seems to me that if folks are that upset about the words of anonymous strangers on the internet, they may need to grow thicker skin.

 

No, you wouldn't know unless they announced they have you on ignore - which some make a big dance about.

Whereas, if you have someone on ignore, you'll see that they posted, but can't see the comment.

I have put posters temporarily on ignore, when they annoyed me so much that I got warnings and infractions for responding to them.

I think ignore is a half-baked compromise, I'd rather leave the wingnuts to their circle-jerk and leave, as many have done already.
