First, my short post is anything but a rant. Second, liberal progressivism in europe is called communism. Where do you think Pol Pot went to learn how to butcher people? France.

Don't go all shy on me! I asked you a direct question. Where do you get these extraordinarily silly ideas? Provide a source which concludes 'liberal progressivism in Europe is called communism'. Good luck.

So you can't refer to one credible source making that claim? Wonder why ;)

It is, as you define, largely indistiguishable. The only real difference between government in the US and government in Europe is that we have a lot more of it and the chain of command is far less clear, when it isn't completely nonexistent. Oh and our petite bourgeosie still exist though it is, thanks to covid, on life support.

I think encouraging "individuals" regardless of race, is more powerful than painting collectives as powerless victims.

Utter nonsense. It falls into the camp of liberalism, encompassing interventionism from Keynesianism. There is a whole heap of sociological analysis also into how the US adopts 'Anglo Saxon Capitalism', distinguishing it from Liberal Democracy with excessive (i.e. inefficient) inequalities.

This is nonsense. The US, relative to European countries, adopts market fundamentalism (which we know is as much of a sham as Reaganomics). Also there is no single government structure in Europe; from centralised to federal. And we also factor in the additional layer of the EU.

Perhaps folk who don't understand liberalism also tend not to understand fascism? That's the only link you've provided...
