He was simply showing some examples of how illegality can reduce the instances of something that's happening.
The need for that will arise if we continue having globalist traitors running things here. - - - Updated - - - They were real Americans back then, not like the scared little Mamas' Boys we've had for the past 60 years.
You love putting words into other peoples mouths don't you, or twisting what is said .. please show me where I said that being born is the threshold for legal abortions (and actually under federal law it is the threshold, it is state law that imposes restrictions) and you have failed to provide a single piece of evidence to support you assertion that abortion is murder, so in fact I did answer your question right here. Just because you didn't get the answer you wanted doesn't mean I didn't answer. Oh I understand the topic very well, just as I understand that you will attempt anything to make yourself seem right. Your tactics are old hat and really only further prove how insignificant you really are. - - - Updated - - - Doesn't really matter as I answered your question which is something you rarely do for others.
Dodged the question again. PATHETIC. You know if you've got nothing just go away, don't make it obvious by posting the garbage you have been posting. I especially like how you accuse me of putting words in other people's mouths, then you accuse me of asserting that abortion is murder, which i have never done. You are the consumate hypocrite!
and did I disagree with that anywhere in this discussion? though if you wish I can give you figures that show in other countries where abortion is all but illegal it has little to no effect on the abortions performed. Brazil is a classic example of how restrictions on abortion don't work - http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1993205,00.html http://womensenews.org/story/aborti...bortions-impede-development-goal#.Uctk1KxQCxk
Well, that's just Brazil. America is a totally different story. Before Roe. Vs. Wade, there was way less abortions which was being preformed over here in the United States of America.
You would really like that wouldn't you .. but it isn't going to happen. The pot calling the kettle black is what you are .. you are the prime example of someone who dodges questions, would you like me to post all the questions you have been asked and failed to answer to? Same goes for you. I also accused you of twisting what is said which is obviously what you do. and here is your comment where you assert that abortion is murder. So same old avoidance BS from you.
Why is Brazil a totally different story? and yet again the question must be asked to prove that statement, I suspect now you will pull up the graph that "proves" there were less abortions prior to Roe vs Wade, but you will fail to take into account the fact that abortion records were not kept prior to Roe vs Wade and that there is no "proof" what-so-ever.
Nope, it was about the same. http://eileen.undonet.com/Main/7_R_Eile/Numbrs.htm NOTE One thing we can do with this chart is estimate the number of illegal abortions performed. In 1973 eg there were 615,831 legal abortions and these resulted in 25 deaths and the deaths from illegal abortions numbered 21. Since in truth the abortion providers both legal and illegal were at that time pretty similar in skill we could anticipate that there were also ~600,000+ illegal abortions performed or in total ~1,200,000 abortions in 1973. There really was not an increase in the number of abortions performed by legalizing - just a huge decrease in women's deaths from them, as the skill, and surroundings in which abortions were performed, improved.
Prohibition failed because you can not tell adults what they should do. Well you can try...but good luck with that. Adult people will (and should) decide for themselves what they should do.
You still can't answer the question. We can PROVE that somebody committed a murder. How do you PROVE that a woman WAS pregnant and had an abortion???
Prohibition was a lost cause. The Federal Govt. realized that too many people were illegally drinking alcohol, thus, an amendment was passed to end Prohibition.
