Why do Democrats love Mail-in-Ballots?

Because up till 2018 they were saying it was the least secure method of voting.

 

How am I, the policy holder not paying for it?

This is how the process goes in my state...tell me how it is too easy to cheat....I request my mail-in ballot on line using personal information only I or an ID thief would know. The ballot can only be mailed to my address on record. Once it arrives I fill it out and send it back with my signature and it has a tracking number known only to me and I can track it as it makes its way from the post office to the county office to being processed and then being tabulated.

I am against sending them to every one on the registration list, but luckily only 9 states do that.

I do not agree that more people voting "skew" the numbers. I think that more people voting is a good thing, even if I do not agree with their votes.

 

Why wouldn't people love mail in ballots? Especially during a pandemic? It saves time. And I'm not ashamed to admit it.

 

There is an old saying "worker smarter not harder". It applies to most things in life. If I can vote from my living room in a secure fashion, why would I I not?

Again, not a problem standing in line, but why do it if not needed?

As for going outside, I have been a runner since I was 10 years old, still run 3 to 4 times a week, always outside never on a treadmill. I have also recently discovered the joys of hiking, amazing how different hiking is to just walking.

So, yeah getting outside is a good thing, standing in a line when I do not have to is not a good thing

Every US citizen who ever voted before the late 1990s or early 2000s, because mail in voting before some date in that window simply never existed before. Believe me, I'm crippled, can't stand, walk, bathe myself or dress myself, and I damn sure cannot get to a physical polling place without a LOT of help. So I do mail in voting and I'm glad it does exist. But if it didn't, I'd get my happy crippled ass out of bed, in the car, and sit in line in my wheelchair for as long as I had to.

Then again, I've never once had to wait longer than 3-4 minutes before I got my ballot and it was my turn to go to the machine(s) and vote.

I know in some places, at least, the lines can be long. But aside to it just being because of population growth (which we have had a lot of since I first became eligible to vote), I don't know why that is.

Still, if people aren't willing to put up with a bit of adversity to ensure their voices are heard, I have basically no sympathy for them, nor do I really think I even want them to vote.

 

I suppose, I had to pick up a card there for a poker run couple weeks back and I found it smelled of gross old men and alcohol soaked wood

We vote largely in an antiquated third world country fashion instead of getting into the computer age and having a modern election.
