Why do doctors never talk about Covid recoveries?

Doctors go into the profession not to dwell on deaths or the “what if’s.” They present such unknowns and move forward regardless. They make you feel better, which does beg the question why doctors at these prestigious institutions are not talking about the 2.7 million that have recovered and have been fully discharged from the ER? By October, at this rate, I predict the recoveries will reach a whopping 3 million. But that’s not the nature of this OP.

Do doctors have a politically charged motive they are pushing?
Is it the chase of 15 minutes of fame media gives them to talk about deaths?
Is there some monetary incentive to continue speaking quite morbidly about Covid? We already know hospitals benefit from Covid cases financially, they are for profit after all.

Any non-corrupt physician would look at these recoveries and try to make it a point to spread such good progress. It’s not misleading the general public because the figures are factual.

Step up to the plate mandate and lockdown supporters, and answer a desperately needed question.

Some doctors are mostly concerned with the Hippocratic Oath and the welfare of their patients and the public health in general.

Some doctors are mercenary, more interested in personal gain and wealth than other considerations.

Why should something as simple as saving sick people's lives become politicized? Why might doctors become the bad guys? We should all be in this struggle together.

    Why are you politizing doctors?

The rabid Trump Cult stops at nothing to defend their messiah.

It's simple. You get poor results when you foster an environment that deflects ownership and responsibility. This is just how society has developed. How would you like it if you were served a sandwich without meat, and when you complained, the business said sorry we have a meat shortage, but at least we have plenty of bread and walked away? Or you get a report your business revenue decreased by 30% last quarter, but it's followed up by the statement but at least our service satisfaction levels are above 90%.

The medical professionals have been working around the clock to save lives during this pandemic. They're worried and trying to solution the 1% that is the bigger problem. To say they're responsible for the 99 percent would be intellectually dishonest and set a poor example.

My across the street neighbor is a nurse at a respiratory clinic that has COVID patients who are no longer infectious. I asked her about them and she said who knows if some of them will ever get their lungs fully sorted. Sure people may be discharged and such, but we really don't have a standard for "cured" or "recovered" that I know of in relation to this one as of yet.

Ask Anthony and the mainstream media why it should become politicized. Ask the DNC why it should be politicized.

The answer is obvious--it was politicized to take down Trump.

This has NEVER been about public health. This has been about money, power, money, authority, money and politics.

Notice that Sweden did not have that problem. Their citizens are not at each other's throats as we are. Their economy was not crushed as ours is. Their schools are in session, unlike ours. Their national anxiety level is much lower than ours.

They have a leader they can trust and their base system of health care is set up to handle these types of situations
better than we are. Their national anxiety has been lower than the American's for 50 years.

To keep things in proper perspective, Sweden did the opposite of pretty much every other country on the planet.

The reason for their success is they did not panic. They were very informed and deliberate in their actions, and they did not have greedy bureaucrats like Fauci and an owned mainstream media.

Sweden has seen no more of a "success" economically than their neighbors who did lock down

And those neighbors had FAR lower death tolls

I think this is exactly why the medical community is reluctant to talk about recovery. The virus has already cast a pall over the world why add to it.

All conspriacies aside, i would say they are concerned about infections and treating them. They don't have to do anything for those who have recovered.

First anyone who says Trump dropped the ball on Covid 19 without mentioning Fauci and Birx is disingenuous. It was them that led Trump down the rabbit hole, so much for reaching across the aisle. You cannot compare a homogenous culture like Scandinavia to America, the two could not be more different. Scandinavians are non confrontational and prefer to be led around by their government like so many cows. Scandinavians are all one thing and if they have anything to bitch about it's all the same thing and so the government doesn't have to engage in endless juggling to address issues. Scandinavians pay some of the highest taxes in the world to support a static and unremarkable existence, mediocre healthcare and a government that promotes the myth that their people are happy. It's not that Scandinavians are unhappy, so much as dull, apathetic, disinterested and disinclined to be anything else. Recently Scandinavia got a wake up call that roused them from their stupor and guileless liberal insensibility. It seems they rolled out the red carpet to immigration and welcomed the dregs of the world and their vanilla world suddenly disintegrated. Talk about anxiety. It's now Scandinavistan and they don't have a clue about what to do. To be fair, Scandinavia, particularly Norway, is one of the most beautiful places in the world, the natural landscape is magical and dreamlike, it's easy to understand the complacent lifestyles. It's sad that they have become victims of their own munificence.

So your argument is that Trump is an empty suit led around by a couple of doctors and the Democrats. He had no control over the situation.

My county heath department reports total cases and recoveries as part of the dashboard. As of today, it indicated that of the 4,600 cases in the country, 3800 were recovered, with 26 deaths. 208 ever admitted or hospitalized and 52 ever in the ICU. That's pretty awesome. Less than .5% morbitity, the hospital system never close to becoming overrun with cases, current cases trending lower, with less than 50 new cases being reported for the county a day.

But the over 80% recovery rate. And of course it doesn't represent those current cases that will also recover. The data speaks. Even when main stream media will not.

Besides the researchers in the lab in Wuhan, who did ever have control of the situation?

That poor Mr. Trump - he's just flailing around looking for other people to blame.

They don't set policy. Trump does. They just make recommendations that Trump has made the final decisions on.
Unfortunately, he has just waffled during the whole episode.
