Why do doctors never talk about Covid recoveries?

According to the most recent update 5.6 million people have gotten China virus, but only 1.9 million have recovered. If you believe 3.7 million currently have China virus, you might be a Democrat.

 

~ Private practice primary care physicians are slowed down due to stay-at-home orders in most states. They simply are not seeing many Wuhan virus cases. Those with symptoms usually go to the emergency room. Others with mild symptoms are treated via telemedicine. Many have been exposed and never know.

 

If some organization was paying you 50k for each case of whatever they desired to be found, you would probably keep up the “found another case” narrative too

Absolutely! My very best friend from elementary school died of a stroke recently. She had a heart attack, ambulance called, admitted to hospital with a negative Covid test. In less than 12 hours she had a stroke and died. This hospital, in Georgia, listed her death as Covid. Her husband called BS and explained he was well aware of the monetary incentive to list deaths as Covid related. They changed it after he threatened to take that information to the media.

I’m not saying this is widespread because I don’t know that. But I absolutely believe that some hospitals are padding their counts.

Medicare. They pay extra for Covid deaths and ventilators because it costs more to take care of these patients. Cancellation of elective surgeries and other procedures, hospitals are losing money. I understand the payment to help hospitals recoup some lost revenue, but that leaves room for fraud. I don’t believe there is any mechanism in place to verify whether all deaths listed as Covid we’re actually Covid related. I asked a nurse friend of mine this question after my friend’s death, she gave me a very eloquent non-answer answer

 

Sounds plausible but not as sinister as it looks. Hospitals are businesses and are struggling to stay afloat. Most doctors are not business men and not concerned with bottom lines. Many doctors sit on the board of directors of medical facilities and their first concern is patient care but I can imagine a lot of them are willing to look the other way during these trying times. When hospitals are shuttered we are screwed.

 

There are definitely serious problems with the biased reporting. We keep hearing the narrative "we need to keep our children safe" .

Safe from what -- the odds of a child dying from Covid are lower then the risk of death from driving to school in a car.

This kind of thing has been reported to be happening all over the place and it is very troubling.

 

I have no personal knowledge about such cases as you describe, but during these last 6 months I have read identical accounts to yours from around the country, including NYC.

 

I get that non answer answer all the time. We will never know the truth, those supposedly Covid patients are dead and buried or cremated, yet, we are making policy decisions that effect all our lives based on pure BULLSHIT information.
