Why do doctors never talk about Covid recoveries?

Hyperbole aside, you still haven't demonstrated that anyone other than those in the Wuhan lab ever had control of the virus. So what do you have? Howling into the abyss seems your only method.

 

Donald Trump was elected President of the United States. He is the leader of this country and is responsible for the decisions he makes. One can not blame his advisors Faux and Fauci for the problem for three reasons:
1. He chose them
2. He didn't listen to them
3. He is the final authority for setting policy

 

Actually many of the European countries now have better control than we do. South Korea has better control than we do.
Actually our record is rather poor when compared other industrialized countries.

 

What's important is what it was pre Covid and America remembers and won't roll the dice with a demented old man and some sleazy lawyer.

 

What does that even mean? They have "control"?? Does that mean that because they are in control that those who are getting sick in those nations are being infected on purpose? If one has control, it connotes that they are also responsible for the effects and any future effects are the fault of those who are in control.

 

American voters ask themselves if they are better off with the last President - or with this one. Right now, the Obama years are looking like "The Good Old Days".

When Obama left office - unemployment was at 4.8%. Now it's over 10%.
When Obama left office - we had 7 straight years of positive GDP growth. Now it's been negative for the last two quarters.
And Trump never beat 3% growth even before Covid. Even Jimmy Carter had better GDP numbers.

 

Doctors politicized themselves. I realized months ago that, like Trump, Fauci is not going to be our friend in this fight. Be supported the authoritative overreach of governors into private citizens lives. Notice how Fauci always talks about the negatives, and never mentions the positives. Including evidence hydrochloroquine works.

 

It would be beneficial for the medical professionals, particularly the ones the media talks to a lot, to be a bit more positive in their statements. If there isn’t a motive to keep things locked down and people paranoid, an incentive to do so, there wouldn’t be a reason to maintain such toxic negativity.

Because it doesn't ensure that people take the disease seriously. It provides false hope and may lead people to relax their current practices such as mask wearing that is the only way to slow and stop the spread. Duh.

The medical professionals wants people to stay home and wear masks. They don't want promote an environment that encourages people to relax restrictions. They're the one dealing with the repercussions of ignorance.

When people become complacent, case numbers will explode and the doctors will be overwhelmed again, getting no breaks and much higher risk of infection. It is in their own, and everyone else's interest, to remind people of the seriousness of this disease.

Do other countries monetize covid cases? A hospital here will charge $25 for a bandaid, think they won’t check the covid box to collect $10K?

I spoke with an MD (my sister) last night. She has a lot of concern about the “recovered”. The scaring she’s witnessing to patient’s lungs, heart, and liver has her concerned about their long term health.

She has her suspicions as to why this isn’t being discussed more though believes the public should at least know there are possible repercussions with contracting the virus.

Beyond that it was merely venting about the lack of basic knowledge of the nature of science displayed by the public in general: frustration.

 

When a political party puts a bounty on a virus. For the first time I have ever heard of, our government will pay a hospital 16K additional dollars for every Covid declaration while shutting down all elective surgeries?

Hospital is going broke, but now has a way to save their facility financially? I don't blame the Doctors or Hospitals as they would have to fold up without the additional Covid money. I blame a government for putting a bounty on a virus while eliminating all other avenues of revenue.

You know a covid death does not require a positive covid test result to be counted right? That comes straight from the CDC.

 

It’s not really false hope, since 94% of total cases have recovered. Fauci never talks about that. The star proves your chances are much greater that you will survive Covid than die from it, regardless of age.

 

News stories about recoveries are seen on CBS, ABC, NBC, and CNN nearly every day. You must be watching Fox. Fox avoids talking about the disastrous pandemic that occurred on Trump's watch and he did nothing about it for two months.
