According to whom? You? And can't you see how others might find your version unappealing? Evil even...
The coronavirus pandemic proved that this is simply not the case. The united states does not have sufficient resources to care for its entire population simultaneously.
This is actually the biggest rifle I own. Not even a firearm, but it will do anything I need it to do. Nearly "Hollywood hitman" quietly too!
Society has more then enough to provide for everyone in need according to Economics. GNP per capita in USA 2020 is about 50 times higher then GNP needed to survive.
What are you......one of those (took out the word nitwit here in case it offends someone) Socialists ??? And hey, 'Society" doesn't own a businesses' assets or private bank accounts in Amurika. What you're babbling about That's the Communist way.
Except there are countless examples of people who have had thoughts of suicide to those who have attempted suicide that went on to have a lifetime of happiness. Not everyone who’s contemplated suicide endures a lifetime of misery and sadness. There is a reason we have mental health professionals and hospitals.
That's true. But the people who only had thoughts, they self-corrected. wonderful. The truth about the vast majority of suicidal people is that they often are chronic depressed and long term unhappy. The ones who find happiness eventually probably weren't mental cases to begin with. just going through a tough time. I was referring to the chronically suicidal who have had therapy and through it all make their own choice.
And what did such amount to when the united states public was being told to shelter in place so hospitals would not become overwhelmed by coronavirus cases? There were not enough beds, ventilators, or medical personnel to care for a sudden deluge of patients in need of urgent care if such should come to pass. So where were the resources necessary to provide care for absolutely everyone in the country? Why were said resources not available when they were needed?
Well of course committing suicide is their own choice but that doesn’t mean people shouldn’t still try to help.
As a society, we do try to help. But it's a matter of limited resources for a very large expensive problem. If you HAD to budget..... Should we spend more on education for our children, or more on treating the mentally ill?
Living in a liberal city increases your odds of death. As long as it's not a cop doing the shooting, do leftists even care? Chicago routinely racks up high body counts, but black-on-black homicides aren't sexy like a white cop and a drugged-up POS who DID NOT die of being knelt on. Fake narratives run rampant when leftists run their mouths.
It is either one or the other, not both. Pick one, only one, and explain why the other is fit to be ignored.
Utter nonsense with no basis in reality. There are not enough resources to be found in the possession of rich individuals to cover the cost of adequate hospital space, resources, and personnel to provide care for three hundred and thirty million individuals simultaneously.
Hmm... And by "needed to survive", I take it you have a baseline. Lots of authoritarian regimes have implemented these in the past. It's remarkable how many folks view this kind of race to the bottom as acceptable... That is why, universally, those economic regimes always fail. They end violently in revolt and carnage.
It is partial slavery. If the government takes 33% of the fruits of your labor, you are 1/3 a slave. Your second statement is 100% false. Resources without labor provide for no one. Food doesn't grow itself and show up on your table. It is labor that provides for society and there is a limit to how many people can stop contributing before there is a shortage. Using a global scale, you are "Very rich" Why aren't you giving 90% of your money away now? Gun control and excessive taxation is okay for thee but not for me, right?
I live in Los Angeles and the same democrats that push gun control are waiting in long lines to buy guns. While it is a good sign, it can also be dangerous. Im not sure that those who can't figure out how to use their turn signals can safely operate a firearm!
