Gad what a mess. If this is true, its a nasty turn of events that a ME could lose his job because of politics. Hostility and indifference re" the death of Trayvon? This will factor in to the wrongful death civil suit.

Zimmerman trial medical examiner: Prosecutors, police threw the case

    by Joy-Ann Reid | September 16

The medical examiner who testified in the George Zimmerman trial says his office, state prosecutors and police had no interest in convicting the man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin and set him up to take the blame for a failed prosecution. (Updated with new remarks from The Sanford, FL police department.)

    Snip

For two years, Shiping Bao, a 33-year veteran medical examiner originally from China, worked in the Volusia County Medical Examiner’s office, which also serves Seminole County, where the shooting took place. He was fired the first week of September. He is suing the department for wrongful termination; a lawsuit his attorney Willie Gary says could seek damages of $100 million.

“They told me that I had a poor performance in the George Zimmerman trial,” Bao told theGrio on Wednesday. “They never give me any reason why they would say that.” He said he was informed of his termination by “a couple of supervisors” working under George Recktenwald, Volusia County’s director of public protection.

This is precious. That guy went into that courtroom thinking he was the cat's meow. He thought he had it all figured out. His bias was grotesquely apparent. The defense tore him a new one. He blew it. This is so funny.

He should have been fired, his performance in the trial was a joke.

Murderers like Zimmy might want to think twice now before instigating victims for the purpose of shooting them to death so to claim self-defense and stand your ground ...

Depends ... not a leap that Florida says you can kill on mere paranoia and be exonerated ... to the delight of Jebby Bushs' mindset when he signed the NRA Stand your Ground law ...

    Conservative disregard for human life.

What about you ... take for instance the first utterance of Zimmys' 911 cal ... *We've had break-ins in the area* ...

Florida says this it all it takes to Stand your Ground (Castle Doctrine) ... wether or not a hoodie with candy & soda even knows he was spotted by you.

I had a theory ever since I heard the ridiculous charge of murder two:

Angela Corey wants to become DA and knew that a guilty verdict would bring animosity from the ultra conservatives, but no charges would bring animosity from minorities. As a result, she pressed charges, but with an impossible burden. That's why I argued for manslaughter or even just negligence all along. After all, the investigating officer's report said just that: negligent culpable manslaughter.

Pshaw. Everyone loves being followed around their own neighborhoods and asked what they are doing there. If their stalker calls the cops on them for the crime of standing, even better.

it's hardly without precedence in the sttate of Florida....

it happened in Panama City, Florida in the mid 2000's. This case was VERY similar to the Martin case as it became a "racist cops killed my son in boot camp"

We had Jackson, Sharpton, ect.... They even used a very dated picture of Anderson from before he looked like a thug. The main difference was, Anderson was hardly a youth they could cover for in terms of problems. Being that he died in a bootcamp he was placed in because his grandmother turned him in for stealing her car.

The medical examiner in the case, Siebert, was well respected in the community. He ruled that Anderson's death was a result of sicklecell disease. The bootcamp was not made aware of medical conditions, despite parents knowing he had it and despite the form the fill out having a spot on it to check off.

Politics were quickly involved and they accused Siebert of falsifying results. He denied the allegations and would not recant his medical opinion and so he was fired, a new M.E. was appointed, they exhumed Anderson's body, and the second M.E. puppeted what the NAACP and Rainbow coalition wanted him to say.

In case you don't know how the case ended.... the boot camp gaurds were acquitted. Even the black one that was just dismissed as an "uncle tom" by the race baiters.

There were many promises of civil rights violation charges, just like now with Zimmerman, but nothing came from it.

A juror had a daughter that got threatened by one of Martin's friends in school after they released the names of the jurors a few month later and the school had to go into lockdown over the incident. So again, same thug tactics after the verdict that they wanted to hear didn't occur as with the Zimmerman case.

    Innocent until proven guilty...

He was never anything but innocent of the charges brought against him as evidenced by the lack of a guilty verdict.

Butthurt lynchmobbers need to move on.

Why don't we ALL move on?
What do the Zimmerman "the saint" supporters have to gain in flaunting the very sad "victory" of their hero?

Everyone knows that the verdict was manufactured. . .and that NOTHING was proven, nothing CAN be proven.

So. . . why so many threads about this very sad, trashy and not too smart character and his sad, trashy and even dumber wife?

Come on, Oldyoungin. . .you know VERY WELL that George, the Saint was NEVER found "innocent!"
He was merely found "not guilty" on technicalities and loop holes in the law.

Do you think OJ was found "INNOCENT?"

We all know that the justice system is not perfect. . .there are errors committed every day. Unfortunately, it seems that (except in the case of OJ) most of the "errors" are against the interest of the BLACK people and in favor of the WHITE people (or, in Saint George's case. . .White Hispanic person!).

Yes , he was found innocent . Innocent till proven guilty , and we all know how that ended ! It's the American way , innocent till proven guilty . Now , if you have evidence that George being found innocent is some how unique or different from other not guilty verdicts , let us see it .

Nor should they have. They had already decided not to file charges, and the only reason the whole thing went to trial in the first place was because of public pressure sparked by a deliberately dishonest media. If the media can influence the justice system like that, that's not justice.

If you want to put somebody in jail, put the scumbags at NBC, ABC, and CBS in jail. As well as anybody else who ran with false reports or used outdated photos of Trayvon Martin - picturing him as a 12 year old child. Every single incident of violence that happened because of this story was directly a result of media malpractice.
