Zimmerman trial medical examiner: Prosecutors, police threw the case

Statements and testimony of the girlfriend, you have nothing to refute it. Zimmerman had no idea where Martin was and Martin had no idea where Zimmerman was until Martin returned to the T junction an confronted Zimmerman. You have nothing to refute the evidence.

Yes how foolish of me to think women being threatened with being raped don't call the police, how could I ever imagine any such thing............

Mine aren't 17 anymore I know what they would do in such a situation and it would not be commit and assault. They would seek safety and call the police, if they felt it necessary and then me.

If you have a 17 year old and don't know then something is amiss.

And the fact is Martin's parents were well aware of the trouble he had been in and it was the reason he was there in the first place.

 

Good post. People tend to ignore that when GZ got out of his truck and shut his door and ran towards the 'T' where he last saw Martin. Twenty four seconds later GZ said to the dispatcher, "he ran". In other words, GZ lost sight of Martin and assumed that he was gone. For the next 90 seconds GZ talked calmly on the phone with dispatch and then said goodbye.
TM, according to Rachel Jeantel lost sight of Zimmerman also. These two men lost sight of one another for a period of some minutes.
One wonders, how it is that the fleet of foot ball player Martin could be cornered or caught by the 5'-8" 205 lb GZ who was wearing jeans and work boots? Not to forget that this was an open space with no dead ends. I would pay good money to see Martin and Zimmerman play a game of tag.

There is also a gap between the time he is back at the apartment and when he says he sees Zimmerman again as he is crossing the T and then another to when he confronts Zimmerman. She doesn't account for what he was doing during that time. But he made his way back to the T junction and when Zimmerman was walking back confronted Zimmerman. They both may have been surprised to see each other although it seems Martin was looking for Zimmerman so he could confront him.
It is clear from the preponderance of the evidence that Martin assaulted Zimmerman, and did so blindly, which is why he had no other injuries on him and was able to overcome Zimmerman so quickly. The eyewitness testimony that is credible is the Martin was on top of Zimmerman, never any other way. The ME examiners testimony did nothing to refute that and the defense ME witness did everything to confirm it.
