I am neither a lib or a con and I don't care what Obama's wife is wearing.

 

The only times I ever noticed what Laura Bush was wearing was one of her first appearances after they went to the WH and she came out in a dumpy purple polyester outfit that showed all her lumps and rolls. The next time was at the RNC Convention and she looked about 20 years younger, had on a nice suit and looked like she'd been worked on before she came out. I could care less what the FLs wear as long as they provide their own wardrobe and dress appropriately for an event.

This is nothing but the normal rubbish to be found here lately that's ruining the forum as a place for actual political discussion and turning it into a "Hate the Obamas" screed.

Well I'll give some fashion analysis about Laura Boosh to balance out the slams people do on current FLOTUS:

L Boooooosh was not much of a fashonista, her style was prude at best. Classic and comparable only to a teacher who wears the same skirt and shirt (with diffirent shade of faded) to lecture every day. You know the type, the one with 20 of the same stuff and has no variety, and is so complacent they look the same as they did 12 years ago. Not to mention her choice of assessories have no style and no flare. Old school, and with red lipstick on thin lips. And very pale almost white complection. Just like her grandma or mum (Barbra) but without the wrinkles and sag. Very very old school, like stepping back into time, time of the missionaries. And we all know what kind of diseases they had back then.

L Boosh Is a good person, and I have nothing against her as a human, After all she is a compassionate person with a big heart. Who else would stick by a semi mentally retarded individual who drinks alcohol to no end, and had failed in every thing he did his entire life.

My fashion assessment is only about the fashion, not the person.

There you have it, if people never made fun of the Boooooooosh atire, this is my observation.

We must really wonder how the purchase of a new coat or buying of a dog toy at Christmas are going to play out next year in the presidential elections. If these are the most important national issues that the conservatives can come up with then they aren't going to win the White House in 2012.

course { Principles } when going over a Closing statement
where there are many numbers.One side is a debit and the other a
credit.That a good lawyer or real Estate person will look for very rounded
off numbers like say ... $ 500 for property taxes.What is the chance
that a full year { w/o any prorating } will come to exactly $500.
Never.That isn't how property taxes are established.Therefore when one
sees figures like that,something is very wrong.Someone is being took.
Same with many purchases.Now,why would a Dress be priced at
exactly $ 2,ooo.Because someone is being took.

In a real sense I hope they don't.

There are serious problems with the Obama presidency and while these Republicans are focused on dog toys and winter coats the Liberatarians are addressing the real issues. Perhaps the 2012 election will result in a turning point where independents and even serious Republicans will turn to the Libertarian Party as the solution. Even Democrats should consider the Libertarian positions on such issues as abortion Rights and the Rights of same-sex couples to marry (which President Obama has never endorsed) and vote Libertarian.

Let these conservatives stick with their protests against coats and dog toys as it makes them and the Republican Party irrelevant to serious political discussion. Let them continue to oppose equality under the law for same-sex couples. Let them continue to promote international military interventionism which even President Obama has shown himself willing to embrace with his interventionism in Libya.

So while these conservatives make themselves irrelevant to the political discussions by discussing coats and dog toys I hope those seriously concerned with that is best for America will turn to the Libertarian Party as a serious answer to the problems which face America and the mismanagement of government by the Obama adminstration as well as the mismanagement by the prior Republican adminstration under Bush.

 

We are focusing on it because its showing the hypocrisy of the Obamas. Im sorry if you think its nothing that we are in a huge financial hole, and yet they act like nothings wrong. They go on lavish vacations, spend outrageous amounts of taxpayer money on ridiculous frivolities, never once considering that its very tacky.

 

IMPO, the ridiculous diatribes about everything they do, eat, wear, yada yada is nothing but vicious spleen venting by people who are outraged that this family is in the WH and again IMPO, NOTHING they do or don't do would satisfy these people. If attacking Obama with scurrilous lies and insinuations isn't enough to drain their bile, they attack his wife, and if that isn't enough, they attack the children. So far, they've managed to go through the whole family.

Some of the stuff on this board is purely shameful and it's being read by people around the world. IMPO, the ones doing it have absolutely no shame - just hatred for this family - not because of Obama's policies but because of who they are.
