When you know what know what the facts of the case are, you will be qualified to comment. Besides, if Lindsey Graham is gay, you should be all for him, right?

I also was pretty ambivalent toward DeSantis when he was first elected - seemed pretty middle-road on most issues. But the little snake saw Trump's
success being an a**hole and he started emulating him.

I'll just say I sold my Florida property two years ago, and moved full time to my Montana property. Talked to an old
neighbor - the HOA on that Florida property have risen over 30% in those two years, and the only insurance available is the STATE run
insurance company. Florida Socialism.

 

DeSantis has a problem with company that owns Bud Light because the pension funds for the government employees have lost a bundle of money, at least on paper, because of the Dillon Malvany fiasco. I don't think that he has any legal grounds to go after the company for making a bad marketing decision, but I'm not a lawyer.

Besides, why are you so concerned with DeSantis? He's not going to get the Republican nomination, at least not in 2024.

There has also been too insurance claim fraud down here that the property and casualty companies should have caught. Having worked in the industry, it makes one wonder what the claims adjustors are doing.

And honestly, you're talking about a situation that impacts about .000001% of the population. Banning books? Making abortion near impossible? Ignoring
rising tides along the coast because it's a political liability? Insurance costs? 9% inflation when the national average is 3%? Health care costs? Shortages
of teachers and nurses? Those are things that need concentration and compromise. Those are the tough issues that really impact the populace.

Andrew gillum was found shortly after losing his bid for the governor of Florida, passed out naked in a pool of his own vomit and a motel room with a male prostitute and meth.

Gillum was also the mayor of Tallahassee who City Hall was under FBI investigation at the time of the election

He’s pushing it all because he wants to be anti-woke so badly, instead of just saying “slavery is bad, always has been” and keeping it moving from there.

 

Slaves worked hard because they had to and this was the life forced on to them, not because they wanted to be there.

 

This. We ended the practice of slavery with the 14th amendment, and at this point slaves are probably five or six generations old, none of us know a relative or even a great grandparent that was a slave.

 

The Democrat ideology is the same now as it was during the era of slavery. The ONLY difference is in who they are villainizing and who they are supporting.
