She is a Republican, but I don't know how conservative she is. She's a proponant of US military intervention overseas and nation building. That's not a staunch conservative stance.

Good Point. Like father; like daughter. Neo-conservatives are not traditional conservatives.

There are already several "third parties." There's one for everyone.

It's reasonably easy to distinguish on domestic policy...limited government, balanced budgets, etc. Get's more difficult on foreign policy. The U.S. developed a nonpartisan foreign policy during WW II. At the end of the war, there was some movement back toward isolationism within the Party, but I think people such as Dulles and Vandenberg, influenced largely by people such as Churchill during the war, opted to remain in a nonpartisan foreign policy posture and backed continuing global involvement. IMO, Eisenhower's split with the French, the British and the Israelis over their seizure of the Suez Canal, split conservatives, with the neoconservatives emerging as close Israelis allies. Just as the British had "played" the major powers of continental Europe between the Congress of Vienna and WW I, the Israelis may have "played" the U.S. against European powers, with the U.S. eventually becoming the closest Israeli ally. It will be interesting to see if our global commitments survive our turn-inward during the Obama-Trump-Biden administrations. My guess is that Biden is more of a Atlantis's/globalist. Trump was more the isolationist, favoring bi-partisan negotiations where the U.S. could exercise more apparent leverage, while Obama was somewhere in between, more the multilateralist. The development of Israeli policy will be equally interesting, with a growing and politically active Russian-Israelis in Israel and the retirement of Netanyahu.

Neo-cons don't believe in limited government. They just think they can manage big government more effectively.

A neo-con with the support of other neo-cons gave us the unneeded Department of Homeland Security. That was a gigantic expansion of government power.

Trump wasn't an isolationist. He just wasn't a globalist.

OK...I can agree with both points, if not your conclusion regarding Homeland Security.

So you are still unable to name a SINGLE Republican who echos Trump. Point proven.

So there will be no inflation of the currency?

When the hell did I say that I'm a "Trump loyalist?"

Can you support that he said this?

What does "voter suppression" have to do with these voting laws?

Can you support that he said this?

Absolutely, but she made telling the media what they wanted to hear her top priority. That was not in keeping with her leadership position, and she paid the price.
