I don't like them, I am almost always in a skirt or dress. I don't own a pair of jeans. I think I have one pair of black pants stuck in a cupboard somewhere, and trackies, its difficult to exercise in a skirt, but as a general rule no. No pants.

Not at all, and I have no sense of style. Or as a former roommate puts it, I am "sarorially challenged". Truthfully, I just don't care. Which isn't to say that I don't dress appropriately (although after going to three funerals in the space of ten days and seeing how few people actually wear suits now, maybe I don't know what's appropriate anymore).

Maybe I'd care more if I had the money to spend on expensive clothes. Nah, who am I kidding? Even if I had the money, I would spend it on something else. Clothes just aren't a priority for me.

For work: usually dark trousers and a button-front shirt in a lighter shade of the same or a complimentary color. In cooler weather, a sweater (usually either a solid color or argyle). Socks to match. Comfortable black shoes, but not too casual.

For casual: Blue jeans or black jeans (I prefer 'boot cut', but you can't find them anymore around here; everything is "straight leg" or "relaxed fit" now), button neck shirt, or a sweater. T-shirt if I'm at home; I have one with dolphins on it for which I have a fondness. White tennis shoes, white socks.

For more formal occasions, black or gray suit jacket, white, red or gray shirt, tie (nothing loud or quirky), dark trousers (don't have any dress pants that fit at the moment). Socks to match, black dress shoes.

    Like I said, "sartorially challenged".

During the spring and summer, it's nothing but flip flops, athletic shorts, and sleeveless shorts. I wish I could dress this way all year around.

Black hair, blue eyes, and pale skin? That actually sounds quite attractive.

(Note: that also described Bettie Page pretty well.)

    Me too.

Esp as I wear a lot of boots, they sit better on the boot.

Hugo Boss store told me they stopped making them, despite lots of people asking for them.

I can still get them easily here though. I got two pairs for about $90 here, the other day.

You can also try E Bay, they have a massive selection of boot cut.

    Hope that helps.

I miss boot cut, too. When will skinny jeans be over for men?

Those jeans that hang off a guy's erse, are shocking.

See, that is what I call a fashion, rather than style.

I like fashion a bit. Comfort and quality are my priority.

My biggest pet peeve are these t shirts that say "obey propaganda" on them, and every time I see someone wearing that brand I can't help but think, what a choad.

    Heres an example:

It looks communist ussr with the red color and the star.

    The definition of propaganda:

    2
: the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person
    3
: ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause; also : a public action having such an effect

Obey your commie masters and the propaganda media outlet, little serfs.

I like baggy clothes. The baggier the better. Cargo pants are a must for me, so are camoflauge pants. Black is good as well.

My general style is very boyish.

Holy crap, you wear a lot of expensive stuff! That's like a thousand dollars worth of (*)(*)(*)(*). I've noticed apparently Europeans are really big into clothes. We don't really do that so much here in the U.S. We'd rather have big screen tvs, surround sound stereo systems, and things like that.

Personally, I'm a comfort/casual guy. Hoodies and t-shirts and blue jeans. I do about 90% of my shopping at Walmart. Great place. I don't think I own a single item of clothing worth more than about 50 bucks. And even that's a rarity.

Nice, Z. I had no idea. You look just like the last girl that broke my heart. :(

It's true. Part of it is that feminists have been trying to re-socially engineer everything to make males as effeminate as possible.
But europeans also prefer to use their dispossible income on quality rather than quantity, unlike Americans, so it is not much of a surprise.

I used to be very conscious of my dress, I was always in dress clothes as a teen and young man. I went to school in dress pants and High Rolls and Long Collars, white on white, blue on blue etc which were the fashion in the north east. Sharkskin pants and Irridescents.
Then Nehru jackets were the rage in the disco days all colors of leather 3/4 and full length coats. Then came Jordache and all the rules changed, then everyone wore 40.00 on up jeans like morons we paid it. Then came the relaxed jean the loose fit jean then came who gives a crap how I look. Thats when you get old

Same here. I just don't get the whole 'designer clothes' thing at all. Why buy a pair of jeans for £120 when you can get a perfectly good pair for £20-30?! I don't see why they are 'special' because they have a 'label'. The most expensive items of clothing I own are probably tour tshirts, but they are kind of souvenirs as well as an item of clothing, and something I've collected over the years, or things like official rugby shirts (which I have a few of, but mostly given to me as presents anyway).

Yeah, same here, man. 90% of my t-shirts have tour dates on them. Like, I'm wearing a Rehab shirt right now.

With the exception of my two wedding/funeral costumes, one pair of khakis, and three golf shirts, every thread of clothing I own has a paint stain on it somewhere.

The joys of the construction biz...lol.

Please speak for yourself. I don't care too much about surround sound, giant tv's and I sure as (*)(*)(*)(*) do not shop at walmart.

Your "we" and "americans" irked me a bit.

    Carry on.

Want some ointment for that butt-hurt? ;)

I was speaking generally for Americans on the tvs and surround sound. Which is true for the most part. The Walmart part was just me personally. I've got friends that are into all that high end fashion crap. It's just not my thing.
