It happens in droves on both wings. Especially the Trumpist wing.

    Fake argument.

Too bad they won't just listen to science, show some concern for the lives of others, and wear the masks regardless of mandates. Instead they've fallen for Trumpist conspiracy vomit. They've placed politics (and specifically the worship of a specific individual) over the facts. Pathetic.

That is how a cult operates. They blindly believe and follow their leader and ignore reality, facts, science etc. They condemn anyone that does not think like they do. They have opted into an alternate reality. They have traded their individualism for group think.

The campaign has scared the hell out of those who believe everything he says, makes it easier for them to accept his policies. It shows obedience, malleability. Gullibility if you like.

Cancel culture is a favorite left wing tool. It's used to attack television programs and personalities and the clearest use of it is facebook and twitter banishments.

You have examples of the right using it effectively?

Seems more common in populist circles these days. Liz Cheney cancellation ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow, and 10 others are targeted for cancellation for not being sufficiently loyal to Trump.

We are talking about last year, and I'm pretty sure Trump was still president.

If March 2020, when Fauci made the comment in question, is your present, then so be it. Everything we have discussed here has been about last year.

Fauci's narcissism and his protected elevated status led him to overrule a moratorium on gain of function research. He exploited a loophole that essentially says gain of function research supersedes concerns about the creation of a Frankenstein plague to find out what happens if one is manufactured. Fauci's mammoth ego got the better of him much like Andrew Cuomo's did when he condemned nursing home patients to death by contaminating their environment with lethally infected patients from hospitals.

This validates the adage that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. In other words, Fauci wanted to create a monster so he could ride in and kill the monster to save the world like Jonas Salk did with the Polio virus. Fauci was the ultimate Salk groupie and he longed for the adoration Salk still has to this day. Salk, unlike Fauci, did not seek notoriety, influence, and monetary rewards. He was a true man of science dedicated to protecting the human race. Fauci, unfortunately became the embodiment of greed and function lust and no amount of human suffering or death would ever be enough to satisfy those addictive cravings. He also had a score to settle with his failure to develop a vaccine for HIV.

The world needs to make an example of Dr. Anthony Fauci just like it did with the Rosenberg's.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...-covid-in-a-wuhan-lab.587898/#post-1072629299

I already started a thread that deals with the origins of Covid and how our research dollars may have helped unleash Covid on our country and the world. Perhaps the mods can put the 2 threads together.

Here are some facts the libos cannot dispute.

    1. "Gain of function research" on viruses has been done and is being done both in labs in the USA and the lab in Wuhan. This is very dangerous research in which viruses are spiked with proteins to increase their infectibility and mortality making them very dangerous. It is believed that Covid emerged from this research.

    2. The "Gain of function" viral research is joined at the hip by an American researcher called Ralph S. Baric at UNC and in Wuhan by virologist Dr. Shi Zhengli . The viruses themselves were provided to UNC by Wuhan and they share and compare their research.

    3. The NIH directly and through other third parties has funded this research. Research in Wuhan was funded through EcoHealth Alliance headed by an advocate of gain of function Dr Dasak. There is no dispute that our tax dollars were granted for research in that Wuhan lab!

    4. There has not been any natural source cited as the genesis of covid-19.

    5. Anthony Fauci as the director of the NIH infectious disease would have approved that research money to Wuhan and UNC.

Again these are facts it is not some right wing conspiracy.

If you ever get to read the Fauci Dossier created by David E. Martin, you will be 110% certain that Fauci deserves to be in jail. He and some of his friends are serial violators of several federal statutes.

It was fun seeing Senator Rand Paul interrogate Fauci in Congress a few days ago. At least there is one good man in Congress.

Two things to assess here. Fauci has never actually produced a medical vaccine. He has always gone down the annuity path creating maintenance drugs instead. Second, Removing the ability to profit from your massive research project takes away any incentive to produce actual vaccines. These observations are obvious. No need to speculate about a conspiracy. These are both business generating and business crushing paths.

I am slow, so how does that equate to "Fauci is likely the reason we don't have an AIDS vaccine"? I doubt many, if any, doctors/scientists have produced a vaccine on their own, they usually work in teams and in conjunction with others. Saying that I've never saved someones life doesn't equate to me being a killer.

If I had told you in July of 2020 that cloth masks were just as good as medical/surgical masks would you have believed me?

By July? Not sure if I would have bought they were as good as surgical masks, but would have/did advocate wearing them as a good idea that would help prevent the spread of the disease if used in large numbers.

Tell you what, I've been inoculated. I've received the vaccine. If I'm still alive 3 months from now, you admit that you were wrong and change your signature to encourage others to be vaccinated and start a post encouraging people to be vaccinated. Deal? If not, then why won't you accept the challenge?
