"Naturalized" means that you became a citizen AFTER birth. Harris isn't a naturalized citizen. She was born a citizen. This is pure nonsense. The only way to become a citizen is through naturalization or birth. She became a citizen through birth. Same as me, same as Trump, same (likely) as you, and (trigger warning for some on this thread) same as Obama.

It absolutely does. America has always had birthright citizenship meaning that if you are born on U.S territory no matter your parentage you are automatically a citizen. A natural born citizen

Absurd yes. Childish yes. Racist no. Saying something negative about a black person does not mean that what was said is racist. It wasn't racist against Obama. It is not racist against Kamala. All that claiming that its racist does is cheapen the word. Something Dems have done enough of. Enough is enough.

Sadly, I think you are actually serious. Guess we should remove Trump from office since we don't have videos of his birth. Hm, have a feeling you won't agree to that. Wonder what the difference is.

so if true, how come she is the VP pick? Do you think this would have some how escaped fox news? i'm not trying to give you a hard time, but I'm sure there is some loophole or something that lets her be eligible, otherwise, fox would have been on this like white on rice. They already had many people on Fox predicting the pick would be Kamala

It's not even a loophole. It's just armchair theorists trying to redefine "natural born citizen" in order to claim certain people are disqualified. Folks did it to Obama (even the non-birthers), McCain, Cruz, etc.

I was born in Minnesota of a not-yet-naturalized immigrant mother and an American father. I can assure you, I am just as American as anyone else.

Actually, some people did say McCain was not eligible to be president. You can find numerous people questioning his eligibility. Much the same as my two sons.
    https://www.factcheck.org/2008/02/john-mccains-presidential-eligibility/

It is not necessarily a racist thing. It is just being wrong.

Talk about Clueless. Not only did Obama and Hillary { both
Presidential candidates } talk about McCain being possibly
ineligible to run due to Not being Born in the U.S.
He was born in the Continental U.S. on a Panama submarine base.
But Hillary and Obama managed to use their Senate to draft a
resolution about McCain's dilemma. As written about c/o the
    Father of the Birther Movement { Jonathan Turley }

Birtherism in these two cases (Obama and Harris) are based on racism; however; birtherism, itself is not racist. After all, one could question the birth rights of a white candidate.

A person is only a natural born citizen if the mother was a citizen at the moment of birth, regardless of where the birth takes place.
Yes, I am glad that Biden picked a piss-poor running mate...

But that does not change the fact that she is a naturalized citizen instead of a natural born citizen.

Article 2 was never amended to change the requirement that US Presidents have to be natural born.

Naturalized citizen but not a natural born citizen. The Constitution requires the later.

She is the later. She was not naturalized. She received her citizenship through birth, not naturalization.

Which means that you are naturalized just like Kamala is. Sorry that you can't qualify to run for president.

Later known to be a submarine base in 1936 at the Coco Solo Air
base in the American controlled Panama Canal Zone.
The rub being that " many legal scholars say the Canal Zone
    never was sovereign U.S. Territory."
Jimmy Carter gave a speech in 1978 claiming " We have never had
sovereignty over it.We have only had the right to use it. "

By way of where she was born and not under what condition she was born. AKA 1866 Congressional legislation.

However, Article 2 of the Constitution was never changed which still requires the higher, "natural born," standard.

Natural childbirth means the mother did not use any medications (ie. epidural) while giving birth AND the baby was born vaginally versus a Cesarean section.

Are you seriously suggesting that a person cannot qualify if they were born via Cesarean section?

Yada Yada.... Ted Cruz was born in Canada but meets the natural born standard because his mother was a US citizen at the time of his birth.
