LGBT bill to ban therapy for youth on sexual orientation issues is stalled in Mass.

No one is stopping a parent from taking their child to therapy, any therapist. This bill has been proposed-it hasn't passed nor will it be.

 

can a 16 yo "child" not enter AA?
if my 16 yo came to me and said "dad, I have a drinking problem, and I want to stop, help me" I will take him to AA.
if my 16 yo came to me and said "dad, I have a being gay problem, and I want to stop, help me" I will take him to gayoholics anonymous.

I agree, it won't stop a parent from seeking gayism therapy for their child. It also won't pass.... it does, however, show that the gaygenda is all about making sure they have as many kids as possible, thinking there is no way to stop this particular behavior

Typically cases of repreave and reparative therapy on minors under coercion of the parents. If a minor wants to attempt to change their orentation or receive assistance in methods to bury their sexual orentation of their own will then they should be able to.

Parents should not be able to force them into therapy though - studies have shown the long term dangers of doing so.

People MUST die.... I hate cancer, too. and have experienced a close loved one having it and dying from it. But something HAS to kill us eventually. If noone died, the world would be wall to wall people at this point in history.

Not at all. If silly adults hate themselves to the point where they think myths about talking snakes will change them, they are free to seek such crap out. I am simply against child abuse, whihc I think that subjecting children to this bull(*)(*)(*)(*) of a therapy actually amounts to.

 

No one should be allowed to send a child to reparative therapy. They should also be restrained from do rebirthing techniques for aggressive behavior, shock treatments for homosexuality, ice baths for mental illness and many other failed and abusive practices.

 

There is no shock therapy in gayoholics anonymous.

use the same steps and procedures with AA, for GA, would you have a problem with it?

BTW - the state does FORCE people to go to AA (or at least gives them a choice between AA and jail).... even kids
