What crime? If he had committed an actual crime, he would have been tried in a criminal trial, not a civil trial.

Is the right still struggling to understand this concept? AOC was asking for a specific crime. The dude said "RICO." That doesn't answer the question. RICO charges require underlying crimes. He couldn't come up with any underlying crimes, and your beloved corrupt witness then began blubbering about how it's Congress's job to figure out what crime Biden committed, not him. And Congress has failed to do that as well. They can't even name a crime he's supposedly committed.

    RICO is a crime...lol.

    "Racketeering Influenced Corrupt Organization"

It isn't a "category " like Ocrazio Cortez claims.

    Damn she's dumb.

I'm sorry that what she said went over your head. RICO requires a COLLECTION of crimes, none of which your beloved corrupt witness could provide when asked. He couldn't answer the question. Neither can any of the fumbling, blubbering Republicans in the committee.

    Figures don’t lie

Here is an easy question that you should be able to find the answer to relatively easy.

What did trump report was the square footage of his penthouse and what is the actual square footage?

I have no idea nor do I care. I care that law ignores the concept that fraud should have a victim and an appropriate response should be for the person committing fraud make the plaintiff whole financially. No vicitm, no money lost, no fraud. Sorry, the law doesn't ignore that. Two lawyers ignore that. And, of course, you ignore that.

This is the same thing as saying that drunk driving should be legal as long as you don't hit anyone and that it is okay to shoot at people as long as you miss. And, of course, you ignore you completely nonsensical double standard here.

The criminal case is still open, and most of the civil charges can also be criminally charged. The difference here is that Bragg would have to show intent, which is more difficult to do, since Trump will just do what he's done in the past and argue incompetence.

Tell us? I'm sure you don't think Trump is the only guy abusing this tactic..

Especially when the bank/lenders are not the ones reporting it ;)

No she is the perfect example of what the leftist voters see as intelligent, and that should scare the hell out of the real intelligent ones left in the party..

If James could have hit Trump with a criminal charge, she would have.

She filed the civil suit because it's all she had.

No, Bragg has to prove that Trump violated Federal campaign finance laws. The Federal Elections Commission has already said he didn't.

Worse, they're asking you to prove it.

    I'm right!
Um, I don't think you are. Do you have evidence that you are right?
No! You must prove I'm right!
But . . . I'm not saying you are right. I'm saying you are wrong.
Ha! I knew you couldn't prove me right, and that proves I'm right!

What's sad is this isn't even the first time I've seen the far right try this "tactic."

Yes. But you missed the part where she can't . . . she was relegated to the civil part and Bragg is relegated to the criminal part. This was all over the news. How the **** did you miss it?

Come back when you've read up. You are talking about the pornstar case. Bragg is also in charge of any state criminal cases involving the Trump Org in NY . . . which is how he got the Trump Org criminally convicted already.
