Bump stocks are irrelevant. Surely you know that.
Banning bump stocks like all gun control measures are irrational. They will only encourage more gun crime.

How the hell would banning bump stocks encourage more gun crime?

So why not give it a try? Do you need bumb stocks, semi automatic weapons and huge magazines to go duck hunting?

There's no rational, reasoned argument for doing so.
    I rest my case.

A rifle, and ammunition designed to kill would have killed almost everyone in that church quickly.
In fact, military rifles and ammunition are designed to wound.

I understand he fired 450 hounds?
A shotgun would have killed more...

BS, charge someone who has an M14, AK, M60, M4, or any decent battle rifle in their hand, and lets see what happens.

Bump stocks can be made easily from scratch by anyone foolish enough to want one.
Rubber bands work better than bump stocks, and they cost nothing if you buy produce at your grocery store. The proposed bup stock ban is just another pointless irrational gun control scheme that will accomplish nothing positive.

What does that mean? Would you oppose getting rid of those things?

No, but I need semi-automatic weapons and standard capacity magazines for competition. There are many, many lawful uses for firearms:

"Gun Control Act of 1968 Sec. 101. The Congress hereby declares that the purpose of this title is to provide support to Federal, State, and local law enforcement officials in their fight against crime and violence, and it is not the purpose of this title to place any undue or unnecessary Federal restrictions or burdens on law-abiding citizens with respect to the acquisition, possession, or use of firearms appropriate to the purpose of hunting, trapshooting, target shooting, personal protection, or any other lawful activity, and that this title is not intended to discourage or eliminate the private ownership or use of firearms by law-abiding citizens for lawful purposes, or provide for the imposition by Federal regulations of any procedures or requirements other than those reasonably necessary to implement and effectuate the provisions of this title."

The capability would not disappear if every bump stock magically disappeared overnight.

Do Rubber bands work on non semi automatic weapons? Do you use a semi automatic to hunt Quail or Deer?

I oppose it because there's no rational, reasoned argument for doing so.
The 2nd Amendment isn't about hunting -- its about people retaining the capacity to use deadly force against other people.

Why do you limit potential firearms use to hunting?

You have been misinformed. People often survive gunshot wounds - even multiple gunshot wounds.
That is one reason why KIAs are such a small part of the total casualties in war.

I have enjoyed skeet shooting.. Do you need a semi automatic or large magazines for that? How about for target shooting?

You've been misinformed. I've killed with an M60, and M16. The reason WIAs are high is because of the chaos of battle.
