I've visiting Texas next year for a holiday. As a tourist, do i get to hire a gun in the same way i do a car?

    If not, why not?

I don't think Texas law would prohibit you from buying a gun, but Federal law would. You would have to be established as a legal resident. Just avoid "gun free" zones and you will be fine.

Actually suspect that a family member is in a very good position to make that judgement.

You keep proving you have no knowledge of science or polling or how to actually obtain information in an unbiased manner.

I don't know of any places that rent guns for offsite use. Likely you wouldn't get to vote, either.

Such depends entirely on what one defines "society" as being for the purpose of discussion. If a national curfew is implemented, with law enforcement being authorized to kill anyone and everyone who violates said curfew without trial or due process, all justified as cracking down on crime and benefiting society as a whole, then it is indeed a totalitarian approach.

Explain the exact science that is utilized for determining that absolutely no private individual could possibly have a legal, legitimate use for a magazine capable of holding more than ten rounds of ammunition.

The less intelligent members of society?

Then demonstrate why the individuals present in this discussion who support greater firearm-related restrictions, are wholly incapable of citing even a single piece of evidence, that demonstrates exactly how the restrictions they support work to actually reduce firearm-related crimes from being committed. Why are they unable to justify their position with basic citations?
