I never admired this character. She was diagnosed with diabetes 3 years ago and kept it silent while still shoveling her lard at the TV screen, knowing that's what gave her the disease and made her fat. Now, when she gets the big deal with a pharmacy company, she reveals her dirty secret. She's nothing but a fat, putrid hypocrite.

Anthony Bourdain was right when he stated last year she is the most dangerous chef in America. I so understand his complete disdain for her.

I'm not sure, but I've heard you can make a radio out of coconuts...at least on Gilligan's Island.

Un-saturated fats are the problem. notice the high number of Un-saturated fats have vs. coconut Oil, which has the lowest in both categories. THAT'S the key. and if you notice, coconut Oil has the lowest number of Un-saturated fats, which means, Coconut Oil doesn't remain in the body because it is used up by the body and it's organs.

Un-saturated fats are those fats that have the most trouble burning away or being used up by the body. notice how high Olive Oil is?

Coconut Oil melts at body temp(98.6 degrees). the ONLY oil that does this. so when you eat it, it's already dissovling and breaking down and getting ready for your body to absorb it. unlike other oils that take a lot more heat to start breaking down which is why your fat cells take a storage hit, because the body is not hot enough to break it down or even evacuate it. so it gets stored in your fat cells until you do some to raise your body heat, excercise, etc...

Refined Sugar(white Sugar) is very addictive and imo causes Diabetes, Cataract Blindness, Intestinal Ulcers,

FYI - Diabetes is FAT in the bloodstream. NOT Sugar. the Sugar is turned into fat because the blood has trouble breaking it down to use it. so it turns into FAT that cakes up the bloodstream and blocks our natural insulin receptors.. this is a fact Doctors know all too well. Which is why Insulin is prescribed because the body's natural way of getting insulin from the blood is blocked by the overload of refined Sugar, confusing the body and blood.

example: take a spool from a finished toilet paper roll and take some water soaked tissue and stick it to the side of the inside wall of the toilet paper roll....THAT'S FAT, mainly from the refined sugar in all the foods we eat.

Paul Deen knows she was on the road to early death. she just wanted to make that money and turn people on to her awful eating habits at the same time.

Example, I'm suffering from serious allergies as we speak. puffy eyes, watery, sneezing, etc...but I have yet to Nyquil/dayquil or any of the over-the-counter mess. all I've been doing for the past 3 days dealing with my allergies has been Carrot juice, Orange juice, LOTs of water and fruit. and I'm coming out of it, because I allowed my own immune system to rebound with the juices and water, it's fighting off the allergic cold with no help from counter meds.

Proof, that the body heals itself. we just have to feed it properly.

You can't expect to eat like Paula Deen and NOTexpect to get sick like that.

    Thanks.

I'm dead then. It's a wonder I can still post after 30 years of diabetes and still an acceptable blood sugar level.

What do you consider an acceptable blood sugar level? normal is 83mg.

    what's yours right now?

You could be ripe for a Diabetes outbreak and not even know it yet. Diabetes, as with all diseases take years to form in the body.

just exercising and eating a salad isn't a legitimate answer to the very serious disease of diabetes.

and no, it is not something that can be 'cured'; it can be controlled only. (and yes, that includes those people with bypass surgery, they still have a compromised pancreas)

I know a man that is a horse trainer, very active and fit, developed diabetes in his forties, has had a terrible time with it...including two month long stays in the hospital...his kidneys are giving out on him as well as his heart. It's devastating to see this man that was so vital and active just three years ago, barely able to walk across a room.

it must be nice to live in Australia where life is so simple and bluebirds sing so prettily all year round...and devastating diseases are cured with light exercise and salads.

well, you refer to 'Southerners' as fat and lazy....based on stats

so, when I post that in Connecticut (for example) blacks are arrested 15 percent more for murder, then ALL Blacks are murderers...right??

    following YOUR logic....
