Rockets Fired Between Gaza and Tel Aviv

The "iron dome" is shooting down most of the rockets aimed at Tel Aviv after an Israeli strike collapsed a 13-story residential block in Gaza.

Interestingly, this is happening amid a political conflict between PM Netanyahu and former defense minister Gantz

FOX news reported three dead in Tel Aviv, an oil refinery on fire and Israeli Navy firing towards Gaza.

FOX news just gave more information about that huge fire... it's not a refinery as they first reported... it's the "trans-Israel oil pipeline facility" that runs between Eilat and Ashkelon, located south of Tel Aviv on Israel's Mediterranean Sea coast.

Ironic that a major US oil pipeline was recently hacked and is now shut-down [causing major problems.]

Let's be crystal clear about this. Israel judges (or is about to judge) who owns property in East Jerusalem which is not part of Israel. And they are handing it over Jews because they used to live there centuries ago. And they are kicking out the Arabs who live there now, who previously have been ethnically cleansed out of Israel. Those Arabs, like 100.000's of other Arabs have zero rights to get their old properties back from the Jews themselves. While this is just 1 out of 20.000 other cases in East Jerusalem that is part of Palestine to remove Arabs and replace them by Israeli Jews.

And now two other oil pipelines have been targeted... [supposedly] one by hacking one by rocket fire.

Sheikh Jarrah was under Jordanian rule until '67. The disputed properties belong to Jews who were expelled by Jordan in '48. Many Arabs are tenants there, not owners, they have been tenants under Jordanian rule and remained tenants under Israeli rule.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the New York City, Mayoral race angle. In an apparent attempt to lock up the Orthodox-Jewish vote in NYC, Andrew Yang and a competitor in the Democratic Mayoral Primary, both tweeted in support of Israel (with no mention of the 30 Palestinians who were killed, or the moves against Palestinians which began the escalating hostilities-- cf. Bernie Sanders' tweets, in the linked article).

There has been a lot of blow-back against Yang, including by some New York Jews, one of whom tweeted that he, like many Jews both here & in Israel, still recognize what's going on as a Palestinian genocide.
