A small million Arabs got ethnically cleansed out of Israel, and they are banned to return and claim their properties. The Jews installed a government who made sure of that, while they made it the law to confiscate all the lands that just happened to be "abandoned" because of their own racist policies of not giving Arabs the right to return, just because they are Arabs.

That "issue" is something to be "resolved" in a peace plan, according to Israel. Every plan presented so far says they won't be returning anything.

When was a Palestinian allowed to go back to their ancestral home in Israel?

Do you know what could have prevented Arabs from abandoning their property in Israel 70 years ago? Arab states not attacking new born Israel to try and finish what Hitler has started. But let's focus on Arab refugees only

Palestinian civilians did not just "abandon".. almost all fled for their lives for the violent Jewish paramilitary groups. And you're mixing up Palestinian civilians with Egyptian, Saudi and Jordan soldiers.... a deliberate rather racist mix up to just all call them "Arab". That Hitler reference is just totally nuts. It seems the Jews applied a lot of Hitler policies like Lebensraum and Drang nach Osten, and killing people who refuse to comply.

They are tenants, not owners. The houses belonged to the Jordanian Custodian for enemy property before '67. Why "enemy property"? Because the houses belonged to Jews until the Jordanian occupation in '48. Do you think Israel should return the houses to the Custodian?

What rules? Can Israeli Jews get back their ancestors' houses in Iraq, Egypt, Libya, or Yemen?

Why do you automatically assume that those peoples' ancestors owned houses in Israel?

Why should Palestinians be responsible for what another country did to Israel?

Again, completely irrelevant to Palestinians being evicted out of their homes but not allowed to have the same rules applied regarding the houses that their ancestors owned in Israel.

Most of the founders and early leaders of the jew state were revolutionaries from the old "Pale of Settlement" area of the former Russian empire. Later, when the USSR dissolved, millions more Russian jews moved to the jew state. That is why Russian was originally and still is spoken in the jew state.

Arabs before the Gaza–Jericho Agreement and the PA after have been utterly incompetent in how they deal with Israel. The Khartoum Resolution (the "Three Nos") and attacking civilians is almost guaranteed to make the situation worse for Palestinians.

Following WW2, there were so many Jews in Palestine that partition was the only workable solution. If the Arabs had agreed to the UN partition, we would have now had more than 70 years of peace and progress.

No, this is not a parallel.

It may be that the Balfour Declaration and Jewish immigration to Palestine was a bad thing (another discussion), but it was a done deal by 1945.

    What's the answer now?

They can't "wipe out every Palestinian ... in a day" and you give yourself away as an extreme rightwing American by even raising the specter of mass murder.
Your characterization of all Palestinians is what's "mind boggling."

We need to arm the Palestinians with some better weapons so that they will be able to knock down 13 story residential blocks in Israel.

There has been massive fighting going on in Jerusalem, starting from Ramadan and the Al Aqsa Mosque. Israel soldiers even entered the Mosque.

The problem was that the news could only be found in foreign news sources, and the cover up was deliberate. When some nation brought it to the UN it was blocked by the US because they were trying to calm the situation down, and didn't want it publicized. That night Israel bombed Gaza.

Today I read that according to the Times of Israel, Palestinians had stockpiled “stone slabs, rocks and fireworks” around the al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem so they could be used against Israeli security forces ahead of the unrest last week.

If the Palestinians and Israelis are short of anything, it isn't land claims. :)
