    Not so much frugal for me, but I already get 6 games/week (3 Sun afternoon, SNF, MNF, TNF) and I couldnt 'stand' any more....[​IMG]

    Frugal? You're not one of those people on that reality show... Cheapskates (or whatever it's called) are ya, Shang? Some wash and re-use dental floss. One pregnant woman went dumpster diving for expired vitamins... which she took instead of buying her own. One served her guests tuna salad sammiches, made from cat food.

    Not that kinda frugal, right? :icon_jawdrop:

    Almost. I like to call it inventive, but really, it depends what we are talking about. I am a huge fan of libraries and haven't bought a book in years...stuff like that. They know me at Goodwill too.

    I usually cut out coupons.. then lose 'em. Can't tell you how many times I've stood in a store, digging thru my purse for some 50 cents off coupon I just knew I had.

    Balderdash. I look for bargains and love to prowl thru stores like Big Lots & Marshall's (do y'all have those?) One rung up from the Dollar Store, 3 rungs up from the Thrift Shop. LOL, sorry, Shangrila.

    Point is, if I want it, I usually buy it. It's one of the luxuries of working 40 hrs a week.

    You are an Extreme Cheapskate in every way possible. Sometimes, you go a bit to far, especially where hygiene is concerned. At least you save a lot of money (at least, we hope you do!).

    I just saw on TV that the most productive time during the work week is "Monday @ 10:01 AM" for getting your work To Do list done.....guess that means that YOU can go home at 10:02 AM....huh?

    You know, that hygiene thing made me smell my arm pits...lol. Btw, its one thing I am not cheap about (kinda), and I do buy soap, but not liquid soap. Bar soap is much cheaper, and soaps that foam less last longer and are better for your skin. No need for fancy shaving cream either. Barbasol is just fine.
    I avoid stores like BigLots etc, make a list when I go shopping ( I HATE SHOPPING) and don't look left or right. Something that I heard on TV once, and its been with me ever since is "nothing in the store makes me as happy as the money in my wallet". (paraphrased and author unknown)

    Hmmm, why would you steer clear of stores like Big Lots? Ive gotten some good deals on stuff there... esp with the 20% off frequent shopper discount.

    I did learn a lesson while shopping for a laptop for a friend. I'll never buy a computer anyplace but a pawn shop. Nearly new and 1/3 the price. Such a deal.
