Stanford Study: COVID19 Lethality Far Less than Expected

We have a pretty good perspective

If you're around someone who has the virus..you have a good chance of getting it.

If you get it...it may be very mild...or it may be a mutherfer. There's an 20% chance that if you get it , it will put you in the hospital and from there about a 50-50 chance you'll end up in an ICU ward and maybe even on a vent.

If you go on a vent there an 80% chance you never come off.

How's that for perspective

FACT: COVID19, though it has nasty comorbidity with old age, obesity, diabetes, other cardiovascular preexisting conditions, is in FACT no more deadly than the annual flu, and almost certainly significantly less deadly.

We'd know a lot more about that...and where the virus IS...if we had more testing

 

And those hospitals have lost all sorts of other revenue...and their COSTS have risen exponentially

 

They're the ones who canceled pre-electives and told us to stay away unless it's a super important emergency. I think in the future you'll see family medicine have more tools and take over more responsibilities. I do think that if the prevalance is higher around the world, then eventually this will settle in and settle down and we might be closer to the end then the beginning.

 

As a rule we have about 26 MILLION flu cases each year with about 14,000 deaths. We have had far more deaths from Covid-19.

 

Random testing does little but waste cotton swabs. If a virus moves as quickly as this is touted, a test today may yield a different result tomorrow. Testing the entire country that give us all 350,000,000 negative results is conclusive until the next infected illegal enters this country

The death toll from COVID-19 has been downgraded multiple times.

I was at a major, urban city Emergency room this past weekend. Guess what? it was EMPTY. I asked where all the COVID-19 cases were and the response was there have only been a few.

There is nothing whatsoever wrong with the Stanford Study or the LA Study, and soon we will have many more.

COVID19 is a flu-like illness that does almost no damage to the young and healthy, and excess damage to old and sick dying who are already at death's door. That's a fact regardless of what they said in your union newsletter.
