I never said it was a crime. It was, however, the president’s responsibility to act in the best interests of the nation. To do everything he possibly could to help. And he not only failed, he made a conscious decision NOT to help. Any patriotic American should consider that as a disqualifying act in terms of holding future office.

It's sort of in a grey zone. It's not really clear the President had responsibility for doing anything about this. His attempts to remove protection were dubious and half-hearted at worst.
