'Tlaib has a history of antisemitism so her vote against the bill isn’t much of a surprise. The bill passed with the support of the entire House, including the Democrat caucus. It had the full support of House Judiciary Committee ranking member Jerry Nadler (D-NY).'

'Tlaib and another anti-semitic Democrat, Cori Bush, were the only two House members who voted against it. Rep. Ramirez wimped out and voted present, for whatever reason she had. It is rare for such overwhelming bipartisan support for a bill in the House. Tlaib and Bush are the ones who are out of step.'

They think "from the river to the sea, Palestinians should be free" means that everyone should have freedom. Then they see what Israel has been doing with the mass indiscriminate bombing, the nasty anti-palestinian (not just anti-Hamas) statements from Nettanyahu's cabinet members, and that the ICJ just found it plausible that Israel is commiting genocide, and they see injustice, so they protest.

Add to that the fact that most of them are ignorant of the culture and history, and that they are looking for a cause to get behind, and you have the result.

There may be some anti-Semitism involved, but I don't think it's a big factor, as there are plenty of Jews who take their same position and protest with them.

It's as lazy to dismiss them all as anti-Semites as it is to dismiss all Trump supporters as racist or fascist or whatever else his haters are accusing them all of lately.

Sure, when one understands Israel's policy. However, blindly believing everything our enemies tell you about Israel is as anti-Israel as it can get.

 

You don't need to hear anything at all from enemies to have some big concerns and valid criticism of Israel in this. You need only hear the words of the Nettenyahu regime itself within Israel.

Chuck Schumer, who is Jewish, just lined up with Hamas. If the Jewish people in New York have any sense, they should make him pay for that. You would think that the Democrats could have trotted someone else out to speak for Hamas, but I guess Schumer was the only guy in the leadership they had. Biden is too senile to give two coherent speeches in a week. You can only take so many stimulants at his age. Boden did say that he supported what Schumer said, even if he didn't understand it.

A cease fire now will leave the Hamas leadership intact with at least 700 released murderers who will be able to join the "River to sea" objective in the future. Hamas is only offering to give back the young children, female and elderly hostages. They are keeping the other hostages for later trades or threats.

You would think that would concern the college students who have demonstrated for the Palestinian people, but many college students can't think that well these days. They are taught to be robots.

 

That's like saying opposing Biden's policies is anti-American.
