You trying to politicize a tragedy says more about you than anything else. Nuff' said.

    Go troll somewhere else.

WTF are you talking about? What has been exposed? What crimes? At least be a coherent troll.

I believe that those children he butchered were innocent unless you can prove otherwise. The soldier who killed them should be strung up.

If a foreign soldier attacked and killed Americans I would expect him to be surrendered to American authorities. Therefore, he should be surrendered to Afghan authorities. As always, apply the same standard across the board.

    :shock::angered:

Children everywhere tend to be innocent. What are you on about?

    Indeed.

I'd prefer an investigation first and some treatment if the person is found to be mentally ill. A life sentence if he is found to be bad and not mad.

Oooooh. That is a real test of justice and respect. You are right, but does military law impact on that in any way?

If a foreign soldier or anyone else attacked civilians in the USA he would be surrendered to local police because this is a crime, not a military action. Therefore, it is up to the local police to deal with the crime and for the DA to prosecute the defendant.

When a Muslim kills innocents in the U.S., he's labeled a terrorist and tried by the U.S. authorities, not handed over to the country he originated from for trial.

Because Muslim cowards do not wear a uniform. If an American tourist went to Pak and committed murder he would stand trial in Pak.

Despite anti-American sentiment, Obama followin' the withdrawal plan...

US Officials: Afghan Killings May Fuel More Anti-American Sentiment
March 12, 2012 - Afghan and NATO authorities are continuing to investigate the actions of a U.S. soldier accused of killing 16 Afghan civilians and then setting many of the bodies on fire on Sunday. While no major protests over the incident occurred on Monday, authorities worry it could further fuel public opposition to foreign troops.

March 12, 2012 - As the U.S. military investigates the shooting deaths of 16 Afghan civilians allegedly by a U.S. soldier, the White House is emphasizing the importance of pressing ahead with President Barack Obama's overall strategy and timetable in Afghanistan.

Since there is so much propaganda here about this incident and not enough information, I thought I would throw something in here to bring everybody up to speed.

    http://www.seattlepi.com/news/artic...S-soldier-s-shooting-spree-3398755.php#page-1

Myself, I see this as a single incident, not unlike those that happen every few months all over the world. A single individual snaps, and brings tragedy to many people.

But this is not normal for the military, no more then a few decades ago it was normal for postal workers to bring in rifles and shoot their coworkers, or for a loner student or former student to go to a school and start shooting everybody they see.

Normal at the moment for US soldiers in Afghanistan seems to be urinating on dead Afghans. Killing Afghan civilians for fun and then pulling their teeth out and cutting off their fingers for trophies and now executing children.

This is the same thing i see, the above statement finely put above^ by Mr Third Man. A complete breakdown with the Usa military and even as far, with american values as a whole.

Which can't be excused so easily, the more they keep happening.

The powerful wear uniforms, those who oppose them don't - it would be a mug's game. Take the French Resistance, the IRA and innumerable other resistance fighters. Cowards, were they? You've been brainwashed, chum.

First off, I feel bad for the people who were killed...

I don't see any way this can be justified...

Second, why in the hell would anyone try to politicize this?

Why does political affiliation matter at all?

Third, I read in an article that during the guys last tour, he was in a vehicle accident, and was diagnosed w/ a traumatic brain injury, but, was declared fir for duty...

Not saying that is any sort of excuse at all, but, why would he be sent back?

That makes no sense to me...
