The Minneapolis Police Chief wasn't present when Chauvin murdered his victim. The Minneapolis Police Chief did watch the vids and gave his opinion about what the cops did on what he saw on the vids.

There is no way in hell this is equivalency. The cop who shot her was protecting congresspersons and staff. She smashed through a door and attempted to breach it. Doesn't matter if she was unarmed, there was a mob behind her and one way to stop the mob from advancing is deadly force, which is what happened. No one advanced through the door after that, keeping the congresspersons safe.
