    The performance of the forum is degrading more daily. As others have pointed out, usually during peak hours which will eventually kill participation and new membership.

    OK. I am going to say it, because I can't be the only one thinking it.

    Has anyone speculated that this site is under an attack?

    Seriously, just from the little searching around I did on the subject, it is not that uncommon, and, it would explain the mod quasi silence on the problems, as they seek out the ****(s) doing it.

    I see the mods silence is them being trapped between telling the truth vs not saying anything bad about the site.

    Well, if that really is the case, then I hope they speak up. I would clearly kick in some dough, if certain protections needed to be purchased to stop it, if they set up a financial flare to do so, so to speak.

    There is a line between my affection for PF and the frustration of being unable to log on or post when I do log on. The line is close to being crossed.

    Clearly the site is under attack. It's time for the powers that be to let us in on what they know. If they don't, I have no choice but to move on. Time grows short.

    I have not been on this site very long but it does seem to be very slow now compared to this past winter when I jointed. Perhaps there are too many online at the same time and the server can't handle the load?

    It may be just me, but it seems as if the problems with PF began about the time a very powerful intellect was banned from this site. I am suspicious by nature.
