    Well we have a lot of members, maybe if we all boycott Google? I have that horrid bing and them as my home page but I could and would change that and finally purge bing from my system too!

    Mods? Administrator/Owner? Boycott Google?

    UPDATE; I have been looking over the web and can find nothing of where to give Google feedback. In the past I have written certified snail mails to the CEOs on down describing the problem. Its best to be civil and precise IMO. Does anyone know were we can contact Google?

    Please make Google your go to forum as well !:blownose: The reason for the ban was given by the owner a few posts before this one. Its crap like your comment that has harmed PF. The truth is that here at PF the trend has been an infectious influx of virulent of left wing toxic screwups that rarely post anything but hateful tirades of the USA and Christianity that are the real problem. The terror groupies spew their anti-west anti Israel propaganda filth while lighting the fuze of Hamas rockets aimed at the heart of Israel. If they would simply go away 90% of the problems here at PF would vanish with them. I would like to discuss the issues instead of rebutting in an equally hateful manner the outright pure lies and fabrications of the terrorist loving whack jobs that post here. :angered:

    I think that I would rather this and other forums to not be included in search engines. These types of sites are just trivia anyhow.

    It's probably a good thing.

    The more Google hits you get, the harder it is on the server. I'd say we're large enough in membership as it is.

    This site still is not appearing anywhere in a google search. Guess we will just have to wait another day and find out...

    I know this forum was appearing in a google search only three days ago, so the site owner's potential explanation seems inadequate. So far it would not seem to be merely a technical glitch.

    Whoever influences what people are informed about has control over what they think. What people are not told about is, in some ways, just as important as what they are told about. Here is a documentary about Venezuala which includes examples of media manipulation to control politics. The owners of the media could make people think whatever they wanted, the Venezualan people were even oblivious to the overthrow of the government.

    It can take quite some time for a site to reappear in the rankings...

    Blocking the googlebots was the site owner's mistake... not Google's.

    Google charges money for any websites being in the first few links or in the first page.

    I think politicalforum just didn't pay them, not that it needs it anyway, it's popular enough to have enough people to come, plus politicalforum just hook up with facebook with free advertisement. That will drive more new people in.

    I believe it got delisted because there are many conservatives on this site. If that wasn't enough the neo-nazis must have sealed the deal. Just as easily as it got de-listed someone with the skills (not me) can get it back on there.

    It's going to probably take a long time. The crawlers we're blocked right before PR was updated so PF probably got knocked out of the system. Google will have to recount every backlink, every SEO value, every little detail that it's super secret algorithm gathers up to rate a site....and only after all that will PF be displayed in the next PR update. Here's the kicker though - PR is updated sporadically and randomly with no set schedule - PF could be listed again tomorrow.....or it might take a few weeks/months. Depends when the next PR update is. If I had to guess though I'd say the update wont be until at least April (since we're at the end of Feb).

    The site owner's obviously in on the conspiracy...

    Thank God we have a few folks that seem to be ignoring his perfectly rational explanation as to why the site is not showing up on Google...
