If there is a great Satan it is in Hamas. Palestinian chose Hamas because of Hamas militancy and threats to anyone who chose against them. Palestinians spend more or waste their time in attacking Israel rather than building up a coalition with the US, UK, France, Israel and the UN to fight and defeat Hamas to establish a peaceful relationship with Israel.
Palestinians have a choice between corrupt leaders, dictators or Islamist sadly they don't have a fourth choice a good leader that is why Palestinians choice are three:
1. Be citizens of Arab neighbors
2. Be citizens of Israel
3. Be citizen of Islamist extremist

If Palestinians chose a Ghandi, Lincoln, Churchill or Thatcher, Israel will have no reason not to negotiate for a sovereign Palestinian State. Only the Islamist will stand in the way of a sovereign secular Palestinian State and they will do everythign they can including suicide bombers to kill everyone and anyone women, children old and young who will support a good Palestinian leader that will work side by side with Israel.

Why would Israel be at peace with Palestine? The status quo serves them well: It allows land seizing and the occasional purge, all this for a minimal number of casualties ("martyrs"). Peace would prevent that; Peace would prevent Eretz Yisrael.

The problem with the lack of peace does not comes from the Palestinians; Palestinians can't decide anything that they will be able to enforce - it come from those who have a gun at its head.

Jews as people, yes, I can respect them as I can respect anybody. Not because they're Jews, but because they're human beings. I can also enjoy Jewish culture (food, music, movies etc). However I hardly respect their religion (which I find supremacist) and the tribal, recluse ways of their orthodoxes, to be honest. Would I have to?

Notice however that I hardly respect my own religious rites to begin with (and yes, I am indeed a Catholic French-Canadian, in spite of all the doubts you may have about it).

The Jews I admire most are those who liberated themselves from ethnocentrism, those who are able to have opinions of their own rather than repeat those of some hive mind. Alas those same Jews I admire are often taxed as "self-hating Jews" by the jewish zealots. They are not "self-hating", but rather "empathic". And that's why I like them. I like humans (although sometimes...), and I like those who like them.

I am first and foremost a humanist. That's not because of some noble, idealistic bullsht, but rather because I empathize easily. It's a curse for me but a boon to others.

Well, yeah, because they're the only ones who can tolerate goyim, it seems. I can't communicate with the pure-blooded tribal ones, so I really can't tell. Apartheid is a South African word which designates an entire legal system designed to physically separate blacks from whites in all; aspects of life from the schools to the courts and government bodies. No such system is in place in Israel.
