Is killing an abortion doctor murder or self defense?

So you believe that your heart -as private as that organ may be- ceases to be yours if another person demands you donate it to them?

 

Abortion is not unrestricted..generally or any other way , so you're wrong there.

And many feel that no matter what they personally feel, it is wrong to take away a woman's right to her own body.

 

If you are talking about ultrasounds, it's been shown they don't change women's minds. It's an insult to women to say they don't know what they are aborting. They know.

That may be one poll, but polls consistently show that more post graduates identify with the pro-choice label.

I agree that polls can be misleading. People define the labels differently. It is also important to understand how people arrive at their "morality." A large percent of "pro-lifers" are religious and also authoritarians. It makes them feel good about themselves to embrace the pro-life mantras. They don't question exactly what is meant by them. They believe abortion is immoral because their authority figures say it is, but we know that church doctrines have hidden agendas. It is no coincidence that religions which oppose abortion also sanction the subjugation of women.

It is ironic that those most loudly proclaiming to distrust government want laws and government to regulate women's most private medical decisions.

 

Wrong, when the public are asked whether they want to see Roe overturned the majority say no, and a solid 53% consider the Roe decision to be a good thing for the country.

The abortion issue is never going to be binary, it requires co-operation and compromise from both sides of the fence .. however that is severely lacking on the pro-life side.
Most pro-choice people would accept an elective ban on abortions after 21 weeks if pro-lifers removed all the TRAP laws prior to that point but that is never going to happen and even if it did why should pro-lifers be trusted after the con job they did with the Unborn Victims of Violence Act.

 

The status of an organ contained within your, or anyone else's body, does not change unless you give consent for it to change, consent is a fundamental foundation of the USA and you want to undermine it.

Again with the emotional laden hyperbole, you need to read and fully understand what murder is . .because abortion is and will never be murder REGARDLESS of the status of the fetus.

You have no understanding what so ever, your numerous posts on forced sterilization, womb police and degrading of women is ample proof of that.
