The USAF is a branch of the govt. it uses the more oil then any private industry in the world. The second biggest user, is the US Navy. It’s apparent that free enterprise does not control oil consumption or oil prices as much as our govt. When it comes to medical science and saving lives, the scientists if the world work to cooperate and not count patents.

Only private corporations work to stifle patent release if it maximizes profits. Private held industries are among the biggest causes if death and suffering . Cigarettes, fast food, opioids, asbestos, pollution, etc. all examples of private industry run amuck. Uncontrolled Capitalism in healthcare ? No thanks. They kill for profit. Left unregulated, they drop coverage, and refuse coverage for Pre ex conditions.

We tried that, for decades. Maybe you were asleep. 30k people died every year because they could not afford.....for profit healthcare.
