    Its all the same fearmongering. Look closely at the words. All their nonsense is premised on 'may', 'could', and every other speculative phrase they can find. Tens of thousands spread across the country won't cause devastation, but a short-term hiccup...

    Preparing also includes prevention and that means shutting down flights and cruises from the infected countries as well as sealing tight our southern border now that Mexico has been infected.

    I'll ask this question again: Should we refuse the entry of people from foreign countries who pose a risk to our health and security? If Trump did such a thing the left would call him a racist, if he doesn't then the left says he doesn't care about Americans.

    The left isn't afraid of drunk driving, child raping illegals who have already killed tens of thousands of Americans and will continue to murder Americans in the future, but a virus that will soon be gone terrifies them. What is Pelosi, Schumer and Schiff doing to cure this earth shattering bug?

    Even if you think it is perfectly clear what he meant by calling it a hoax, it is a ****ing dumb idea for the president to call any aspect of the virus a hoax.

    This coast to coast outbreak wasn’t discussed on the Sunday morning shows.

    the guy in Washington that died, was at an old folks home before being bought to the hospital. That’s why they said he had underlying health issues when he died.

    They always do. Plus just about every country on the planet is looking for a vaccine. Change that, I doubt Cuba and Venezuela are looking for a vaccine, they'll wait until someone else develops it and then get it handed to them for free.

    It's a hoax to politicize the virus and blame him for not taking action all while we just went through a ton of grief about him not getting the approval from congress about taking action on a terrorist. What has the Squad done to help with the virus?

    So do your work for you? How about the nation just follow the CDC's advice? Or was that what you were actually getting at all along? Hint . . . public service announcements work best sans the strong odor of panic. "Just read the CDC's advice." That's all that you needed to say.

    I didn't want to say anything, because I didn't want to give it out, in case it wasn't obvious, but what if the unknown infection carriers in the USA, Europe, SK are spies who have just gotten back from spying in China, Iran, ect... ????

    Also, I mean take Iran for instance, if there are 53 dead so far and the mortality rate is only 1%, (53/0.01) then that means there are 5300 people infected over there.:eek:

    Europe, France Germany and Italy - from Italy and Iran it seems, seems to be picking up now much faster than Asian countries. South Korea has a lot of patients but you will note its deaths and serious/critical are less than Italy. South Korea is testing everyone it can get its hands on which is probably why it has the higher numbers. Another thing to keep your eye out as things go on is that what has been happening up till now is that half of those deemed to be serious/critical survive and the other half die.

    Unfortunately the US under Trump only tested about 450 people and I have heard is now thinking of testing another 3000. The UK has about a quarter the number of people you have but with a few days had tested over 3000 people. We have now tested well over 11,000 and have found 32 people have the virus. 33 on WHO possibly the one who died on the Princess.

    It will indeed be a miracle if you do not have a lot of cases due to your lack of ability to understand the situation and act on it. It will probably be hitting your tourist industry this summer to top everything else.

    DailyKoss? Really? Anyway, this was in a nursing facility, those places are breeding grounds for every bug you can think of. That doesn't mean it isn't something to take notice off. But, at the sometime it isn't some world ending pandemic some people are trying to make it out to be. We have a briefing on it tomorrow at work
