Prepare by making sure you are educated about the virus, know some basic techniques for minimizing your risk/ability to spread, and by having enough food and water that you could quarantine yourself for 2-3 weeks without needing to make to make a trip to the pharmacy or the grocery store (or needing those delivered to you).

I think if you go back and study JFK's platforms on civil rights, the american armament industry, repealing the oil allowance program, creation of civil corp etc.,etc., you will find that he is quite liberal.

And after the missile crisis he was quite prepared to negotiate nuclear and other disarmament treaties with the SU. Khrushchev was apparently crying inconsolably when Jack was assassinated because of the opportunity for peace that was lost.
